“Just rolled 3 of these into my Cronus Magnum III, along with 2 of the Gold Lion 12AX7 (Kevin’sStash). 2 more of the Brimars went into my Pharaoh II. All bi-Amped thru Klipsch Forte IV’s. Music Hall TT with Ortofon 250 LVB. My 67 year old ears were astounded at the difference. Put on my best Miles Davis Kind of Blue vinyl. Tighter, better high end and soundstage. Truly a difference. Bass might be more pronounced, but that is what old ears hear the most anyway. Earlier today ( before FedEx delivery of the tubes) ordered a couple nice hearing aids to combat the high end loss. No connection to tube order- wife demand. Now, almost like I do not need hearing aids. Cannot wait to see what is added to my listening experience with the combo of new ears and new tubes. Lot of $$? Yes, but worth every single cent.”

“These tubes have more bass and midrange then the radio techs almost as detailed.much fuller sound I think there the best so far but there’s many more to try.”

“I wanted to like the Brimar CV4003 tubes, But they are extremly noisy in my preamp. Upscale Audio sent me a second pair only to have the same very noisy outcome. So both pairs didn't work for me. This is no reflection on Upscale Audio the customer service to replace them was good.”

“Replaced stock JJs rear tubes in my Rogue RP-5 with these babies. Right away, a slight glare in upper mid that bugged me was gone. And there is a subtle woody warmness. Like the wonderful overtones you get from a nice cello. High end is clear and pleasant... not muted or accentuated. Dead quiet. Really nice tubes.”

“I purchased both Brimar 12AU7 and the Mullard 12AU7 (NOS) to use in my PrimaLuna Prologue Premium pre amp. I’m using the Mullard in the primary position and the Brimar in the secondary. There was a noticeable difference in sound quality. It’s remarkable how much difference these tubes bring to the music presence.”
