“I'm no audiophile, but this tube really woke up my music. I have it in a Vincent PHO-701 phono stage, and it's amazing. The music just seems so realistic and vibrant. I can hear shimmer in the cymbal hits I've never heard before, and the kick drums have an added amount of detail that makes it almost seem like I'm in the studio during recording. Just outstanding sound!”

“Placed into my BHK Per. Only @ 10 hrs on them. Immediately notice an improvement in soundstage width and depth. Mids and vocals clearer. Seem to be well worth the cost!”

“Put a matched set into my preamp, and was pleasantly surprised at how good they sound. I have always found it hard to describe sound with words, as words have different meanings to different people. These are a great sounding tube, a very smooth sound. Makes music more engaging.”

“The Mullard CV4003 was always my favorite 12AU7 and I view the Brimar the same. It does everything well.”

“These are outstanding tubes! These tubes are very quiet with no noise or microphonics whatsoever! As soon as I started using these tubes I noticed an improvement in clarity, instrument separation, and detail retrieval. I also noticed the warm nature of these tubes especially in the mid-range. Mid-bass is very prevalent but might not be everyone's preference. These tubes should be perfect with Sennheiser headphones or others that are light in the bass department. Very musical tubes. Highly recommend.”

“Bought 4 Brimar 12AU7s from Upscale Audio to upgrade the stock LTA ZOTL 40 Reference+ monoblock amp tubes, complimenting 4 Telefunken 12AX7 tubes (did not roll the EL34 tubes). The combination of the Brimar tubes with the Telefunken tubes has transformed the LTA amp's musicality and sound stage - if you have LTA's, can't recommend the combination enough. Thank you Sean at Upscale for all the support, and for knowing my system, which has elevated my audio experience.”
