“These are outstanding tubes! These tubes are very quiet with no noise or microphonics whatsoever! As soon as I started using these tubes I noticed an improvement in clarity, instrument separation, and detail retrieval. I also noticed the warm nature of these tubes especially in the mid-range. Mid-bass is very prevalent but might not be everyone's preference. These tubes should be perfect with Sennheiser headphones or others that are light in the bass department. Very musical tubes. Highly recommend.”

“Bought 4 Brimar 12AU7s from Upscale Audio to upgrade the stock LTA ZOTL 40 Reference+ monoblock amp tubes, complimenting 4 Telefunken 12AX7 tubes (did not roll the EL34 tubes). The combination of the Brimar tubes with the Telefunken tubes has transformed the LTA amp's musicality and sound stage - if you have LTA's, can't recommend the combination enough. Thank you Sean at Upscale for all the support, and for knowing my system, which has elevated my audio experience.”

“Wow! First thing. Ordered in Canada at 3:30pm on a Thursday and delivered to my door, I live one hour and fifteen mins outside of Toronto, at 12:30pm on Friday the next day. How'd they do that? :) impressive. System: Spendor 7.2 speakers Cayin cs100 amp Svetlana nos el34 power tubes Pontus 2 dac Lumin u2 mini with separate power supply upgrade Audio Sensibilty cables System was sounding top end heavy and too analytical and a little forward. Spent a lot of money and was not my sound preference. Started preamp tube rolling and got these Brimar tubes. Wow! From such a small change they gave a more musical presentation as soon as I put them in. Only got better over the next 3 weeks. What I noticed: Less bright. All top end edginess taken off. A richer deeper more musical presentation that just made the Spendors bloom and relax in there presentation. I'm very happy. Negatives, not cheap considering I now have to purchase a back up pair from Kevin as they sound great. Thank you Upscale.”

“These tubes are a great compliment to my VTL TL6.5 V2 preamp. The sound is open and articulate with detail from top to bottom. They are beautiful sounding tubes which provide a thoroughly enjoyable listening experience.”

“Replaced the center 2 tubes in my Primaluna 400 integrated with these to see if they would really make a noticeable difference.After 70 hrs. I am definitely a believer.Lower bass ranges better defined.no noise.Highs and mid ranges are beautiful.A great inexpensive upgrade to an already fine amplifier.”

“Definitely a wider sound stage and cleaner top end. Also evident was a firmer more concise upper to mid bass region. Quite an improvement to the original trio in my Ayon Orion II amplifier. Extremely satisfied with these Brimars!”

“Great tube. Installed on PL Evo 400 Intergrated in the 2 center tubes positions. They took about 3 1/2 weeks to settle-in. They were a bit flat and dry in the beginning. They are hard not to like after break-in.”
