“Utter, utter rubbish the sample was only the background of the tiles and none of the actual pattern of the mosaic.

Oh no, we do care!
These tiles are huge with a large format design on them. When cutting a 10cm square out of an 80cm square tile, it's difficult to show the pattern. We do offer a quarter-size sample for this tile, to give you more of an opportunity to see the design.

“A nice basic tile but a tad overpriced. Also beware : the shipping extortionate! I bought one box of 30 tiles and they were shipped for £12. I later had to order a further 2 boxes and the shipping doubled To a whopping £26.99 as apparently a pallet was required. On arrival the pallet was tiny and weighed about 8x heavier than the actual tiles themselves. I won’t be ordering again any time soon”

I'm sorry you were not happy with the shipping costs. We use third-party couriers so these costs are already calculated for us.
You can find this information in our Deliverey Information on the website. The cost is calculated by the weight of the goods, anything over 15kg will be palletised. Under 15kg, our small goods courier can deliver.

“I'd give 5 stars except they do not tell you that returns are at your own expense. This is heavy stuff that costs a huge amount to courier back. I've lost over £80 because paying for the return is so costly. Please tell us or give us a return courier option even if we need to wait till you are back in our area. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
As this tile is 800x800mm and the patern on the tile is spread around that area, it would be difficult to cut a 10cmx10cm free cut sample to show all of the design.
Our free cut samples are more to give an idea of the texture of the tiles and background shades.
As the tile is so large, it's not cost effective for us to send a full-size sample, but we do offer a quarter size which would give you more of an idea of the design.
“Although the tiles now look nice, our tiled told us these were the worst tile he’d ever worked with. He let us know the tiles were curved so when using the spacer it was essentially pointless as the gaps would get bigger towards certain parts of the tiles. Also the customer service was horrendous and although the estimator said we needed X amount of boxes to cover our space, it was incorrect by 2 boxes.”
