Looks great, price ok, but significant assembly required. Letter on differentiating screws were not clearly specified. Letter “H for 1 and 1.25 inch screws which made assembly harder and frustrating until we figured out smaller screws went in without problems. Over all, love the looks and how well organized our wines are now. Thank you.

Bought 4 racks (5 columns each) and built them myself. You definitely want to use a power screwdriver to put together. Go slow when building the racks and make sure to line up the pieces so you don't split the wood. Now that they racks are in the cellar and secured to the wall they look great. I'm planning to purchase 2 more racks (5 columns each) to house my wines.

We are overall satisfied with the product. We bought 3 units of the 5 column racks. The assembly was easy. We found, however, that the holes didn't always line up. Also, there is no instruction for adding the bottom 2 pieces — we figured it out, but it should be added to the instructions to save time. There were some chips in the wood, which made it tricky attaching some sections. But we managed and are enjoying the units. Attaching these units to the wall was easy, as was lining the 3 units up next to each other. I'd recommend this shelving system.

I had purchased 9 of these racks and was able to assemble them with ease. You may want to mark and pre-drill the front wood trim pieces to be sure the holes line up perfectly. After the first rack was finished, the next 8 took about 20 minutes each and I was able to do them by myself with a drill, cordless subcompact driver, and screw driver.Jim Beck

Purchased two of these racks and had little trouble assembling them. Be sure to review the instructions and understand where each part goes because the instructions are somewhat ambiguous. I would recommend that you redrill the reinforcement bar holes that goes across the front of the rack because it is assembled from the back side of the rack and somewhat difficult to access. I used a small Dremel electric screwdriver and a separate drill to speed up the assembly. Build time was about two hours per unit. The final product is very sturdy and filled with wine is almost immobile. Once in its final location, it will be attached to the wall.
