“I had never tried ruby chocolate before. I was pleasantly surprised. The chips themselves do not taste great, but they are a really nice complement to a nice dark or bittersweet chocolate. The color is a pepto bismol color, so not great on its own, but beautiful against chocolate. The 5.5 lbs bag is the best value. I split it with several friends and got the best per pound price that way. Loved the service and delivery was very quick. Overall, super happy.”

It arrived in a timely manner; however, it had been shipped during an abnormally hot spell and a decent portion of the chocolate melted! I’m very disappointed that it was not shipped with more precaution. In terms of flavor, they meet my expectations, are smooth and creamy. Very decadent looking.”

Sorry for any confusion, however we do offer warm weather packaging for an additional fee. It is always up to the customers discretion as to whether or not they choose extra protection for their order. In the warmer months, the default is set to "yes" so it is automatically added unless you opt out, but in the cooler months the default is returned to "no" and can be selected by those who choose to do so. We try to convey that message very clearly on the website.
