“Overall, I did not gain a lot of new information from this course and I would not recommend it to others. I realize that this course will have a variety of different people listening to it, all with different learning objectives, and that, consequently, the speaker needs to keep his or her information on a fairly high level but I think this made this course a little about lots of things and not a lot about any one thing in particular. This is four hours of information that all of us sort of already know or could easliy have obtained from a Google search. For example, do we really need a medical specialist to tell us how to make ferrmented foods? I think not. One thing I did take from this; he recommends 30 (servings, I assume) of plants per week and that sounds like a lot but it is not just vegetables, it's plants. So that includes fruit, seeds, nuts, legumes and herbs. That is a useful way to think about it. But I did not learn a heck of a lot more.”

Learn a new skill
“I enjoyed it as a refresher but I didn’t learn anything new. I was hoping for more information about gut health and weight loss. Much of the information in the course is already available to anyone very literate in food and dietary trends and research.”
