“Isabelle Allende's Magical Storytelling course is right up my street. She is a really engaging, experienced Maestra, who is able to tcommunicate her knowledge about writing in a straightforward, humourous manner.
The course is easy to follow, broken down into easy, soundbites that have truly inspired me to put pen to paper.
I particularly like the way that Isabelle gives examples from her own work as well as celebrated authore to emphasis whatever session she is leading. I find her anecdotes and recollections very refreshing and Ilike the way that she inspires me to write fiction from an unusual point of view.
Most of all, I like the exercises at the end of each session that challenge me and help me to improve my writing skills/style. I'd definitely recommend this course to aspiring writers who have no idea where to start.”

“It would be fantastic to set up working groups related to this course. In one of the episodes she recommends finding a group of people who read each other, etc. facilitated by a coach. I realise that Isabel Allende wouldn't be able to do that, but perhaps an idea to expand BBC Maestro would be to complement the fantastic courses you offer with other, more hands-on courses to which people would register, receiving more tailored guidance.”
