“I would recommend it but only for people who have never written fiction before. I'd thought it would be a kind of master class, but it's actually a very elementary level writing class. I've been writing fiction for over 20 years and have attended many week-long writing workshops in different locations in the U.S., so I am already very familiar with the concepts discussed so far (I have gone through the first seven lessons.) I may listen to a couple more, but if it doesn't have any new information at that point, I may walk away.”

“It is an exceptional course. I find her way of explaining things structured but engaging. I have learnt very much. She's really made me think about my environment, discipline, commitment, research and just start writing! Then we have the technical aspects of person, tone, plot structure. Her explanations are fantastic. Her final comments on publishing are helpful as well. They ground one's expectations without quashing them. I would say though if you listen to this course on the app, please download the notes and do the exercises.
