My husband has done a lot of barbecue over the years on an old oil drum smoker. We recently upgraded to a Kamado Joe and he bought the FireBoard 2 Drive to go with it, and he's beyond impressed. He no longer has to sit and watch the temps. He can go on about his day! It really makes things so much easier and more convenient. This is the top of the line and the definite way to go!!

Fireboard has allowed me to taking BBQ Catering to the next level. Technology that helps to ensure your product finishes just right without having to be shackled to the smoker.

The devices made my 16 hour cook on a BGE a breeze. Put the pork butt on at 9 pm. The blower and FireBoard kept the temp between 225 and 230 while I slept. I enjoyed spending time with my family rather than monitoring the fire. Pork came out perfect. Watch a few Youtube videos before you get started. The App is great and easy to use, once you know the details. But the App is not 100% intuitive. I watched videos on how to attach the blower, how to set alerts, and how to change the setting on the blower through the App. It took me about 45 minutes to get everything set up for the first cook. Now that I know how everything works, it will take 5 minutes to set up my next cook.

An excellent thermometer and blower. Once the target temperature is reached, this unit maintains that temperature throughout the cook. Additional, it is US made. What more could you want.

I did one cook so far on my SnS kamado and I had a lot to learn. The adapter plate didn't fit but I cut it down without much trouble. I found that the top vent needed to be almost completely closed and the inlet to the drive blower almost completely closed too to achieve 225 degrees. One thing to note, it would be nice if the bags for the probes were marked as to which type they were. I had to figure out which were which type.
