“This is one of, if not the most unique hot sauce of the 20 or so that I've tried from this website in terms of flavor... and it is good. Try this on anything you'd put mushrooms on, and put a lot. It's delicious, and it has a perfect heat for me. Personally, I tried it on pizza, which was great and some pasta which was AMAZING. One of the fastest bottles I went through. Also, I have to say I appreciate the bottle and the fancy image it presents. Love the wax on the cap.”

“My husband and I are obsessed with this sauce. I picked it up because it sounded funky and boy is it ever. But in the best possible, umami packed way. Good heat, loads of flavor. This stuff is good on eggs, it's good on fries, it's good on tacos. I'm still trying to figure out what it ISN'T good on!”

“This was a impulse purchase as I was buying two other sauces that I'd been considering for a long time. I'm so happy that I added it to my cart! For me, it takes one of my favorite flavors (balsamic vinegar) and supplements that with a really nice and lasting heat. I wasn't sure what to expect from a 5/10 on the heat scale, considering I hadn't ordered from Heatonist before, but I think maybe this was a bit spicier than I was expecting. Even though it's hotter, it has still been heavily used in my house. It has this awesome velvety texture that I don't see frequently in hot sauces, which is nice when I'm putting it on something because then I'll get bites without the sauce for variety. When something is more watery sometimes there's no respite from the sauce and that can get boring. Because it's on the thicker side, it definitely seems to be disappearing quicker than our usual consumption rate, but that could also be the fact that we're just favoring it over other sauces we have. Either way, happy I pulled the trigger and will absolutely be ordering more.”

“My tongue is burning a bit as I write this. Four good dashes on a taco. I'm a big mushroom fan and you lose a bit of that flavor in here but the texture holds strong. I wish they had a little more mild version here for sale, but I'm still incredibly happy with it. I'm just going to figure out the best food to put this on this weekend.”

“This sauce is so tasty! I got to try it when it came in my partner's subscription box and I'm so glad it's now available to buy because we've almost finished the whole bottle! Get it, put it on beef, any kind of beef, but especially a burger or steak. The mushroomy goodness is just absolutely perfect. I normally don't put any kind of sauce on my burger, I'm happy with just meat and cheese, but this stuff I will go crazy with and love every tingly bite. It has a mild kick, but not a kick you in the teeth kick. More a nice warm build-up that stays there while you enjoy it, then gently fades away without leaving you aching later.”

“I didn't realize how quick this was getting used until I realized I'm now on the last 1/3 of the bottle. This goes great on nearly any savory dish (burgers, sandwich, steak, pork). The mushroom is definitely there, but it's not overpowering for someone like me who doesn't like mushrooms. Comparable heat level to Los Calientes - mid range, but not at all overpowering.”
