This was not a very flavorful sauce. I did not get much birdseye or chive flavor. It's mostly a vinegar taste.

Oh no! So sorry this sauce wasn't for you! We find this sauce really sings fried dumpling and with sweet n sour chicken. Or if you'd like a suggestion for something more to your taste, send an email to ilovehotsauce@heatonist.com

Enjoyed this sauce. My son and I feel that it has a hint of steak sauce to it's favor.

I saw seaweed in the description before I bought this and kind of freaked out. But it's not ocean-y at all to me. I picture it more with Asian style food, rather than seafood. If you like Ponzu sauce (instead of regular soy sauce) this flavor profile is a LOT like that, but with a kick of spicy. I poured it all over my simple chicken fried rice last night and it was heaven.

This tastes great, and I really did the depth of flavor in this. The heat is nice as well, doesn't linger too much!

Goes perfectly with a seafood pizza.

This has one of my favorite flavor profiles of all the sauces I have tried so far, and is one of the only hot sauces I've encountered (besides cocktail sauce) that I would pair with oysters on the half shell. The vinegar and chives really shine, with all the other ingredients playing a role as well. If you don't like vinegar or chives, don't buy this sauce. If this wasn't 12 bucks a pop, I'd use it every day.

I actually use it in any Asian recipe as an addition and it always adds great flavor and a touch of heat. My favorite it is to use it in this recipe instead of Sriracha: https://pitboss-grills.com/recipes/beef/korean-grilled-short-ribs. The marinade for that is amazing as a dipping sauce for dumplings!
