“The product is beautifully wrapped it is a pity that the product itself is so poor.1. Board and pieces appear to be made of the cheapest, most lightweight wood available.2. When the boardbox is opened, the squares are misaligned.3. The pieces are very unstable and topple over with the lightest of touches.4. One brown pawn had a 1 mm split down its full length.5. One white pawn had a chunk out of its side.6. One brown rook had a damaged top edge.7. All three damaged pieces had been varnished after the damage occurred, so quality control or attention to detail must be zero.I imagine that this set was made at the lowest possible cost and it shows. Once again, such a pity.”
