About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “I viewed Noah’s ark before I sent it on & I was gratified that the paint on the animals will not harm a baby when they put it in their mouth - that is the statement I read but am not with the child to check. The quality of the product is excellent & that I did check. Also the mother of the child was delighted with it. So thank you !”

“The description did not include the fact that this toy is unsuitable for children under three. Judging by the suze of the box all of the parts are much smaller than they appear in the illustration. I havent unpacked the brown outer box and suppose I will have to put it away for two years. Not at all what I wanted.”
