About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “I originally just wanted toy animals for my 2yr old. This was the same price and turned out so much better. So much can be done. Putting the animals at the window..stacking them...lining them up its great my daughter favourite”

“I bought this for my sons first birthday. Its beautifully made and great value for money. Its very solid and the paint seems tough the crocodile has been given a tough chew test by my teething toddler!. I love that it incorporates a shape sorter including circles, which are always the easiest to do. I also love that it has a male and female lion and a Mrs Noah to go with Noah. I think lots of fun will be had with this my nine year old is currently playing skittles with the animals!”

“Bought as a gift for 2yr old girl. She really likes it. However, she sat on it and one of the side panels came off and has to be re glued. Shouldnt be hard to repair. Overall happy with purchase.”

“Is a really nice product but not intended for younger toddlers see photo also exposed screws, sharpish edges as well as some loose pieces capable of being swallowed. Originally bought for a 1st birthday, will now happily keep it for the 3rd.”

“We booght this for our grandsons 1st birthday. He loves the little animals and always has one or two in his hands. I am sure he will continue to enjoy it as he gets older.”
