About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “Bought as a gift for 2yr old girl. She really likes it. However, she sat on it and one of the side panels came off and has to be re glued. Shouldnt be hard to repair. Overall happy with purchase.”

“Is a really nice product but not intended for younger toddlers see photo also exposed screws, sharpish edges as well as some loose pieces capable of being swallowed. Originally bought for a 1st birthday, will now happily keep it for the 3rd.”

“We booght this for our grandsons 1st birthday. He loves the little animals and always has one or two in his hands. I am sure he will continue to enjoy it as he gets older.”

“Lovely product. Bought for my 1 year old son for Christmas, the only problem I found was that in the animal pieces the birds are too small for a one year old. Small enough to fit in and close their mouth.”

“Beautifully packaged, sturdy shape sorter built to last. Based on the Bible it has more than one function Attractive design. Very sturdy and well designed. Roof folds down and all the animals fit inside. The best Noahs Ark around”
