About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “Wasnt too sure what I was expecting but has exceeded my expectations.The packaging was all wrapped up gorgeous when my little boy opened it for his birthday was expertly made. All nice bright very well made. It is his favourite present.”

“My daughter loves this ark. She is 2 and hasnt stopped playing with it since we gave it to her. Its a very well made lovely wooden toy. The pieces are a good size for her to play with. It is very good value for money I actually personally think its underpriced. We own a few of the Jacques of London toys now and they have all been excellent quality. I would recommend.”

“The product itself is lovely and love the idea of the toy wrapped ready as a gift. However, I have been disappointed both times I ordered as though the product was wrapped carefully in a box, the gift box had not been protected in the amazon box and had been creased and damaged. More care in packaging needed. This is no reflection on the product itself.”

“A 1st birthday present for my great niece, she loves playing with it. I am impressed with the quality of the ark and the colours. Wooden toys look so much better than plastic ones and no doubt will last longer.”

“We bought two wooden toys for our grandchildren and they are excellent. So nice to see proper wooden toys instead of the mass of plastic ones that we expect these days. Both of the toys Noahs Ark and a puzzle came as described and well packaged. We keep buying from Jaques of London and have not been disappointed yet. Keep up the good work of providing quality toys and games.”

“I was very impressed with the care taken to wrap the ark you could tell such love and care had been taken, I was not expecting this for the price I paid.i would have paid more for this. I think my daughter will love it when she opens it .”
