“Great kit and resource!! Students absolutely love it! From a teacher perspective, I found it very hard to find the notes/lesson plans around the kit online. Would be great if you could print them and add them into each box so teachers can either use them online or from the box.”

What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit? The kids were having so much fun competing they were using language to explain how they felt, they had to work on perseverance and use maths knowledge to understand amounts and distances.
What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? Measuring distances, building on perseverance and resilience if we don't succeed the first time we keep going

What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit? This kit worked so well with PE and getting out and testing ourselves! They were also very eager to research information about other records. Fair testing was also a big part of the learning.
What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? This will be great to use again for measurement. Such a great challenge and gave different opportunities for learning - a fresh approach to developing mathematical concepts.

How did the kit components encourage mathematical thinking for your students? Lots of teamwork. Working together to compare 'records'. Comparing data and then presenting the data to share with others. A great measurement unit.
