What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit?
My students are really excited about measuring, and have developed an interest in ordinal numbers and rankings. It has also encouraged some resilience when things haven't gone well, which we will continue to build on.

How did the kit components encourage mathematical thinking for your students?
My students learned that time feels different depending on what you're doing eg 30 seconds sitting silently feels different to 30 seconds eating chocolate. They learned that you need to choose the correct way to measure something, and the correct unit.
