What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit?
We were able to pick up things from our literacy learning (sentence structures - ESOL class) maths learning from measurement and statistics and fitness learning, with coming up with creative ways to move our bodies
What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit?
We have a lot more fun games to play for our fitness time, the kids want to continue tracking their records to see if they can improve over time
How many DIY World Records did your class make?
How did the kit components encourage mathematical thinking for your students?
The children really had to think about how to measure their world records, were they counting, measuring or timing their record. It tied in really well with our statistics topics
