What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit?
The kids found it amusing enough, they focused more on the fitness first. However, since it was their own world record and was authentic to them, they could see how their experiences could be represented as mathematical data.
What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit?
Unfortunately, due to time constraints, we cannot progress further into future learning opportunities that ties to this unit. However, my students actively try to make fun activities to compete with each other and has sound data interpretation knowledge.

How did the kit components encourage mathematical thinking for your students?
We used the data that we gathered to look at mean, mode, and average. We also used to think about which graph would work best depending on our world record types.
