What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit?
We have been studying plants and seeds so the measurement component tied in nicely and we just finished our unit on skipping. The records tied in with the inquiry we have already started.
What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit?
I only received the kit 2 weeks ago so have not had enough time to really get into it yet. It would of been nice to have more time to complete more of our challenges before writing my review. We have only had 9 days of school with the kit so far.

How did the kit components encourage mathematical thinking for your students?
We set a record for the fastest growing bean so the children used measurement to record the results as well as the tallest tower with our blocks.
We used counting for our skipping record and time for the fastest lap around the court.
