What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit? It was a effective integration of Health and Physical Education, Mathematics, and English, along with all of the Key Competencies.

What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? Students can now add to their new understanding and further develop skills of the principles of formulas and variables. The students were excited to know that anyone can make a World Record! Thank you for this opportunity.

How did the kit components encourage mathematical thinking for your students? There were some good resources to encourage learning about time, distance, superlative terms, and lots of physical activities incorporating measurement, statistics and geometry.

What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit? Students were great at making meanings and connections between the kit and maths - towards the end they realised that all the reading (of instructions) and writing (of the instructions) were just as important.

What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? I'd love to do this every year. It also drew my attention to the fact that my students needed specific instruction on making things repeatable and accurate measurements. Maybe a science focus next...

What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit? As the Commonwealth Games was the focus for our inquiry this term, we were able to integrate this kit really well while studying the world recoreds of our own athletes. Maths as stated above, as well as PE and oral literacy.

What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? The kids are excited about learning from more kits in the future!

Mathematical thinking was promoted through the students need to solve problems to make the event work for the class, as well as experiencing measuring length, and timing during in different contexts as they completed each event.

What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit? I loved the flexibility of the record options. Really good ideas and templates were provided but we were able to branch out to PE, as well as writing and basic facts challenges.

What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? It was an amazing tie in to the Commonwealth games. I've stored away my leftover resources as I can easily use it again during a statisticsvor measurement unit.

What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? Kids are interested in researching world records further and continuing to break current world records we have established. It has created a friendly competitiveness around it.

What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit? They were inspired to look up loads of world records and reported on them during class news time.

What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? Come summer, we'll have another go at trying to set world records. The children were able to chat about the values and capabilities people show when trying for world records.

How did the kit components encourage mathematical thinking for your students? Really encouraged accuracy, and creating recording charts that work well.
