I used this kit for a Years 1-3 classroom. The children absolutely loved it. They would come in the mornings asking - "Are we doing world records today?"The links to You Tube for world records were a great introduction. The cards which enabled the children to clearly make up their own world records were great at this level. We had a lot of fun doing these. They enjoyed receiving their pennants as a certificate and also the medals I got for them. The resources provided were wonderful. It tied in really nicely with the Commonwealth Games too. Thank you School Kit!

We have had a blast with this kit. The kids have stepped out of their comfort zones and collaborated as a group. They have thought creatively but also logistically. Such rich learning going on yet again with these amazing kits.

This kit worked in well to support our studies of the Common Wealth Games. Students were able to create challenges and break 'class' records, feeling very successful. A great way to engage students to think outside of the box to challenge each other.

My students thoroughly enjoyed designing their world records. It was useful having the kit as the supporting material really helped to deliver the learning of the language in particular. The kids loved the flags and badges and the recording pages and result chart were simple to use and clear. It did take a big chunk of time for all the records to be achieved - in hindsight I would have gotten students to work in pairs or small groups to reduce the time required to complete.

Children had a lot of fun coming up with ideas. Some struggling students were able to buddy up and work together on these. The children learned a lot from the experience even though they didn't achieve their world record (made the challenges a little too hard for themselves).
