This kit tied in beautifully with statistics recording tally charts and then graphing the different results.

It related well to the Paris Summer Olympics and the Paralymics and promoted a lot of inquiry based learning as well with sports and the athletes - finishing with an Olympiad visiting the school.

What was the most unique record achieved and why?
Writing their name as many times as they could in a minute - this helped focus them on capital letters (proper nouns) and children that were having trouble with reversals because if capital letters were missing or a reversal letter was in the name it didn't count!!! Great for healthy competition.
