This was great to look at with the Olympics as well. They loved getting the opportunity to create their own world records and break each others! The creativity was so awesome but also great links to maths - how do we assess how we have broken our world record?

The students were invested in this right from the beginning. I found it was a good kit for Term 4 as it was easy to pick up between the busy, mucky times that happen at this time of year. The students were all proud of their achievements and it allowed all students to be as competitive as they wanted to be.

My students loved the record kit. We chose a day in the afternoon when they could attempt to break the records they had created. There were fun ones and some harder ones, but everyone had a go at some. Some students asked me when they could try to break the record and how many records they had.
