“small and hard to put on”

“I am on my second pair. The first pair is not the same size as was ordered. This means that although the label said 42 EU, it was much larger than that. I returned them for a smaller size. The second pair arrived and the length and width were correct put the opening to put your foot in (from the tongue to the heel) was so small it was nearly impossible to get my foot in. Further the pull tab on the back of the shoe came apart as it wasn’t sewn into the shoe securely. Terrible workmanship over all”

“La plantilla de la zapatilla izquierda o está defectuosa o no entiendo qué ocurre, porque después de un mes de uso, a la que camino 5 minutos se mueve hacia atrás y me hace pisar con los dedos directamente sobre el suelo. La verdad que un producto de este precio no puede tener este tipo de errores, ya que ahora mismo ni siquiera puedo ponerme las zapatillas porque siempre voy incómodo. Un mes de uso y ni siquiera a diario. Había comprado anteriormente 3 pares Canyon, que de lo buenas que eran decidí regalar 2. Sin embargo, estas Jungle no me han durado ni un mes. Puedo entender que esto pase con unas zapatillas baratas, pero no con estas. Muy decepcionado con la compra. Probablemente no vuelva a recomendar la compra ni compre nuevas.”

“These Shoes are very comfortable! Perfect for hiking an walking through waterfalls in the Jungle! But sadly they started to fall apart after 4 days use. Not nice for that price...”

“I bought these shoes for a seven-week trip in the UK and Europe, and for the most part I really liked how versatile they are - I used them for day hikes, for city sightseeing, gym sessions, just about everything you could imagine in a day-to-day travel scenario. They're lightweight and easy to clean. However, the shoe isn't easy to slide on, even with the laces fully out - I had to use my index and middle fingers as an improvised shoehorn to slide my ankle in. But even more irritatingly, that small bit of grey inner fabric at the back of the ankle constantly rubbed against and irritated my skin, and for seven weeks straight I was wearing plasters on the back of my ankle to avoid blisters. It was extremely uncomfortable to wear these shoes without having some kind of padding/protection there, even socks weren't adequate. What's more, the fabric on that actual spot has slightly torn, and I wouldn't be surprised to see it split if I were to take these overseas for a few more weeks, so I'm not convinced there is any lasting durability to these shoes. Again, I like how versatile these shoes can be, but if I bought another pair of Tropicfeel sneakers I'd probably opt for the Canyons to avoid the heel irritation issue, but I also question how durable their other shoes are given that these ones are already starting to break after seven weeks of use.”

“Started when I received the shoes with one lace missing the stopper. Asked the support for a replacement as I thought it would be wasteful to replace the full shoes. They said no problem we’ll send it. Never received it. Already when I first looked at the shoes I noticed a lot of very crooked stitches. I let it pass as I thought: ok they’re a Startup but maybe the shoes themselves will be still good. After all there are a lot of very good reviews. I then wore them for a three week vacation. After that I threw them away as they basically fell apart. I’ve been hiking and on vacation with 20€ adidas sneakers that held up better. I really can’t understand the hype. Also the “water draining” feature didn’t really do anything in my opinion. Felt like any other mesh sneaker and drained and dried the same. Just one big disappointment with great marketing.”
