I ordered a brake caliper from 24 7 spare parts sam auto parts I received the brake caliper it was completely seized I have tried to get in touch with sam Sam's auto garage for a return address but I got passed from pillar to post I have lost £42 Plus mechanic fees at my local garage sure I have lost all faith and eBay 247 parts and Sam's auto garage I would advise everybody not to order spare parts from these people yours Nick m

Was a good service many years ago although now not worth the hassle. There appear to be more 'suppliers' on the site that will rip you off than there are genuine. 247Spares has no reasonable system of removing or reporting these entries. The service to message quote providers does not work at all meaning you have to call them. They do not also state anywhere clearly that the numbers provided are not mobile numbers (despite starting 07), they are premium rate numbers that can cost a fortune when you inevitably end up with a scammer. Used to rate the company highly although I'll quite simply never use again as it's begging to be ripped off. For similar stories, just take a look at the credit expert forums - I wish I had read these before using this useless service!

My comments, are directed at, foreign car parts, ordered through, 24/7 spares, after paying £96, for a petrol tank, that was worse than the one on the car. Ringing up a man called Dave, who lied through his teeth. No intention in refunding my money, he asked me to send photos, off to him of the fuel tank. After Andy Sefton, my mechanic, stated it was a liability, and worse condition than the original. Which I did, after this Dave, said he would ring my mechanic, and ring me in thirty minutes. He didn't, I rand Andy, no one contacted him. So I will never buy another part for a car off the internet again. The tank is at Bollington tip. The firm in question DVD, FOREIGN CAR SPARES LTD. phone calls to speak to seller are of premium rate causing the parts inquired to be very expensive..............!!!

i orderd a window regulater from one of the quots. the next day they imformed me that the one they had was,nt any good. i reorderd from another quote only to be informed the next day the same thing.also one was sent to me.witch. was the wrong one and had to be sent back. i need one. but im getting frightend to order.has ive got to wait to get my money back these firms sould not give a quote if they have not allready got them

I took out a contract last November to cover everything connected with my central heating system. Having had a problem with a similar company so I confirmed that any problems I may have with my heating system was covered. I returned from holiday in February and my heating was on but no hot water so I called in and the next day an engineer arrived. He confirmed that my three way valve was stuck and would have to be replaced and said he would return in a couple of days. After several phone calls By ME it was confirmed that although my heating system was covered to drain down the system to get to the valve was not and that would cost me £340. The system does NOT need to be drained down fully. And a replacement valve which I was told costs £240 (Retail £100) can be taken off the shelf at any plumbing wholesaler. I received a telephone call from Kevin who sounded very helpful and said he would cancel the call out charge as no work had been carried out and would contact my plumber (Who would only charge £240 inclusive of the valve) so I gave him the plumbers phone numbers. It is now some three weeks since his call and he has not contacted the plumber and guess what I have just received a bill for the call out. I have emailed the company on twice but have not had any reply. Very sad that what sounds a good company has many poor reviews.

All company's that sent quotes asked for refocus amounts of money for items £55 for one door card when I could get all 4 from eBay for between £35 to £75 just trying to take people's eyes out not a happy bunny see ya

i paid for this item by pay pal have not recieved or been contacted by supplier i have phoned supplier but there phone is switched off

The item was unusable. It had been left somewhere where water had been able to get into it, and most of the interior movable parts were ruined. It was possible to cannibalise some of the parts to effect a temporary repair, but only on a short-term basis until a new part arrives. This has caused inconvenience and distress.

Have brought an engine .4 days after fitting by garage it seased .Peugeot and Ford spares of Essex gave ever excuse refused to help and had a 6 month warranty .now going to trading standards

Very badly let down by a company through this site called Engine Components Ltd. They lied to us, conned us and when our engine arrived it came with half the bits missing!!

I haven't purchased anything. I asked for a quote online. Gave my email address and telephone number. What did I get? I got a text to ask me to ring you!!!! I'm not ringing you. If you want the business YOU RING ME. As for this feedback questionnaire? Obviously automated!!! Be careful with automated services, they can make potential customers very annoyed. So I hope you share this negative feedback because yoi can turn this into positive. A bit more human contact, a bit less automation please. A Metcalfe

I often get a text message that the parts am looking for is available at this so so and so price with telephone for me to call but anytime I call , the response is "sorry the parts u are looking for are not available, we mistakenly text u " This is very bad and must stop

I spent 25 mins on the phone and got no answer,I tried to order online but could not find what I wanted.when I got through to the spares department the man was curt and very rude, I will not bother again.

After trying to put together a collection of separate parts for twenty minutes and simply ending with the system submitting an application for only one of the parts I gave up on the web site. The phone is never answered with the messages about call importance only serving to emphasise how poor the whole experience is.

Took two weeks to arrive tried to get a full refund after 10 days but emails were ignored by auto doc. After paying that much postage it really is a terrible service. I would still Like a refund of my postage costs.
