“Its a rip off using 07 number that looks like a mobile number but costs about a £1 per min with no warning. Avoid!”

“I query for a part for my Jaguar and I even gave my registration plate, soon I received an email with a quotation and with a big arrow telling me to call a number I called and there was an answering machine that took long and later I learned the call to that number cost £6 per minute. I bought the part but I received the wrong part and I tried to return and they did not want to accept it so I had to make a complaint with my credit card. see the photo attached, the small part is from my car and the big the one sent by S Motor Spare Ltd Over all these people is a rip-off!!!”

“I have just received my part but it is a slightly older version of my part. To make matters worse I phoned them 3 times to check part number match mine and they said it did. I feel I have been conned out of my money but I will try to fit this part so I could lose more money. Next time I will source spares by running around myself. I will never use these again. Steer clear most of these are only in it to make a quick few quid. Totally upset by this experience.”

“247 recommend me a scrappy Altham car Recylclers LTD or dishonest wankers, sent wrong part so sent it back at my cost for full refund, every trick in the book not to refund it£114 stolen, even blocked my emails thanks Natalie (arseholes) avoid them please scum.”

“Ordered an engine based on the fact that it would be next day delivery and low mileage, this was vital as I am self employed. The engine took two weeks to get here. Once here the garage that was fitting it found it to be the wrong engine. They then said they were going to send a replacement engine which took a further week. This engine was correct and fitted by a Mercedes van centre. After a short period of time the engine started sounding very rough and had developed a sizable oil leak. Due to this I was told that my warranty was void and a refund could not be given. The whole experience has cost me a great deal of money.”

“Could not request the particular part I want on the online site. Did not give me any options but engines. Got a few unnecessary calls for engine parts which I did not need. Was a wasteful experience!”

“Placed an order through 247 spares, they responded with the cost I eventually ordered the part was told that I'll receive it the following day between 12 to 3pm and it's now 2 days and still no part, definitely not happy.????”

“Don't use this site. I only had 1 genuine response and he had not looked at the part number I asked for before responding. He said that was not supplied to him at the time of quoting. The rest were all high rate return call numbers. Complete Scammers. Stay clear”

“THE PARTS NEVER TURNED UP AFTER BEING PROMISED THEM NEXT DAY DELIVERY. WHEN I RANG THE COMPANY THEY WERE VERY RUDE AND NOT HELPFUL. AFTER LOTS OF PHONING AND ASKING WHERE THE PARTS WERE A WEEK LATER THEY SAID THEY MAY BE ABLE TO SEND THE NEXT DAY. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE**”

“I have an unresolved dispute with Foreign Car Spares in Birmingham, who apart from being evasive and unhelpful, have so far not supplied me with the part I ordered. Initially the part ordered and paid for was quoted as 'NEW' with a 12 month guarantee. When it arrived it was clearly not 'NEW'. When my mechanic tried to fit the part it was apparent that the wrong part had been sent. I have lost count of the amount of phone calls and e-mails I've made in the last 2 weeks, and as yet they have not resolved the problem.”

“Hi . The dealer that gave the best quote should not be trading in 247 spares . It's cost me over £30 in phone charges constantly phoning the dealer. Accepted the part quote in Thursday 7th.. Part should have been delivered Wednesday 13th July.. Now due for delivery Tuesday 19th. I asked for a refund and why they did not return my calls only to be told it's premium rate . What do you want me to do . I said phone charge compensation and they hung up .. I was due to go away Friday15th in my car but due to it being broken I had to cancel due to their incompetence and rudeness .. They should not be trading under 247 spares . Disgusting company .”

“Ordered part Monday 04/07/2016 lunch time promised next day delivery, just phoned up today Thursday 07/06/2016 said my order was on hold because their supplier had let them down. I received no phone calls to let me know and I have a customers car standing that needs to be completed tomorrow. Thanks Haybrook Autoparts”
