“I ordered a nearside headlamp unit from A & C Auto Salvage the unit arrived but the bottom of the headlamp was covered in a green mould that cannot be removed. I haven't called them to replace the unit as I have noticed that my original call was charged at a premium rate, so a 5 minute call cost me £3 .76. So by the time I pay the costs to phone the company and pay for the cost to return the headlamp I would have finished up paying half again the cost of the headlamp. How a company could send the said headlamp out in such a poor condition is beyond me and why are they charging premium rate for calls. I suggest you check the status of this company, I certainly wont use them again”

“Orders my part told them it was a emergency as I broken my ankle. They said it will be with me the next day I'm still waiting. Also we agreed on a price and they took a extra £5 out of my account. So as of today 2/1/2016 still without a car order the past 22/12/2015 very disappointed”

“got a phone call from lLes to say hr had the part so far nothing has turned up so nobody please deal with mitchells auto breakers he said it would be here next day and this is over a fortnight ago”

“Provided delivery of spares providers alright - no problem there BUT AT WHAT COST? Cheaper to buy new I think or go to a breakers BECAUSE what they don't tell you (or if they do it's in the invisible small print somewhere) is 247 Car spares SCAM | DIYnot Forums as 0703 calls are to a premium rate number and it is to this number you have to address yourself if you want to buy the spare. If they said £6 per minute upfront I wouldn't have bothered with them. In fact I was lucky to check the number as it was the same 0703 for each spare offer so I wasn't caught out but I wonder how many more people were as lucky as me? RIP-OFF BRITAIN ONCE AGAIN”

“item came does not fit our skoda fabia 1.4 petrol AF02ZPS REG SO NOT VERy HAPPY 1 HOUR WASTED TAKING IT OFF JUST TO PUT IT BACK ON AGAIN PICTURES SENT TO SELL TO SHOW THE PROBLEM seller does not want to know know I have opened a dispute with 247 spares all pictures of parts and car have been sent to seller and 247 dispute no answer as of now nothing has been done to sort this out i have had to go to natwest credit card help this support does nothing to help you at all”

“your website has got many fraudsters. using people's work shop as their addresses. when u go to those workshops they've nothing to do with your website that needs to be look into .if not people will fall victims. I will like a call back”

“Parts arrived yesterday, opened and inspected, parts not fit for purpose and not accepted returned to delivery driver. these parts could not be used as were in a condition inferior to the items in current used and could not be used to repair problem. The packaging was inspected to ascertain that fault was inherent prior to despatch. broken parts of unit mounting tabs were not found in packaging. Where bracket should have been showed no sign of recent brakeage. ie. were broken prior to despatch. these parts are still required. Please advise soonest as to replacements are available fit for purpose as soon as possible. I hope to be able to change my rating from very poor to normal or better on satisfactory conclusion of this purchase. E.E.Hammett”

“Part arrived on time but found out a my expense could have got it a lot cheaper if I had waited for more quotes .The part that was sent was a wing mirror which could not be fitted to car because the fitting on it where smashed off .Think very carefully be for you buy.”

“My request to 247 Spares in October 2015 prompted a quick response the same day, unfortunately, the first responder was JAP PARTS who supplied a worthless, faulty component, which was supposed to have been tested (a big inducement to purchase) and for which I paid over the odds ( the most expensive of the 4 original responses). My swift request for refund or replacement under guarantee to JAP PARTS for the component, which proved to be only fit for melting down as scrap was TOTALLY ignored. However, after 17 e-mails, numerous 'phone calls and letters to Trading Standards, Citizens Advice and the Credit card company, I finally got a full refund (excluding return postage) on 30.12.16. My advice BUY ELSEWHERE, unless you want a 2 month stint on the 'phone, photocopying and typing................”

“I have been unable to contact any dealers with the telephone number supplied with the quotes. Every number I phoned came back number not in service, a complete waste of time. I need to contact the dealers before ordering as there are 2 different models for my vehicle, so I need to get the right one before buying.”

“I GOT COMPLETELY RIPPED OFF BY UK BREAKERS FOR £900.00,WAS SUPPOSED TO GET A VAUXHALL VIVARO ENGINE,THEY SENT A MEGANE ENGINE. WHEN I COMPLAINED THEY TAKE NO RESPONABILITY,THEY JUST PASS YOU ON.”

“i can not find or search items what i was looking for. I got only 1 item found and got only 7 quotes, but they are way to expensive its better for me to go and buy from local scrapyard or local parts dealer. Now I can see its all about money nothing about price or customers. I can not see any point using your services if its same price or more expensive. Your website is not user friendly at all. You need real time user to give you feedback to design the website for customers not some idiots who sits in office and do not what customer look for.”

“Emailed me to say call supplier now on 0703 421 1435. Didn't realise this is premium rate number! Left on hold for over 10 minutes at a time, just to be given ridiculous excuses as to why I'd have to call back later. Searched for the phone number and people are saying it's a scam and costs anywhere from between 50p to £6 per minute. Iv'e been on the phone to this bunch for over 20 minutes today. Just tops it off after having a hit and run on my car. Thanks 247 spares you f*****g b******s”
