“Paid nearly £9 for saturday delivery for a part that cost over £8. Saturday has been and gone. Ordered the part around 3pm on the friday. Have emailed customer service for a refund. Why would I pay nearly £9 for delivery the following saturday? Rubbish.”
“poor customer service, was not informed that it would take 3 months to deliver a simple charging cable for a samsung tablet, no follow-up info Customer Chat not at all helpfully first one carried on with standard B/S platitudes and cut me off, second one took more details but mysteriously disappeared after asking for more details that were already in the system. As aside ordered cable from Samsung themselves delivery withing 2 days. overall if had the chance to give 0 stars I would do”
“Useless !! Have ordered a new element four our Belling oven on the 17th March 2025 and we're still waiting on the 28th May 2025!! ....... In fairness it wasn't a stock item, but it should have been here well before now and I have been given false dates of when the item will be dispatched. If you're able to i'd steer well clear !!”
“Spare brush ordered for scrubber dryer ordered 29th October, nothing has yet arrived and still no tracking number on their site. You can't call anyone as they have no phone lines, so your options are Live Chat, which is truly dreadful, always busy, or email and await a response in 2 working days. I find that companys that handle things well when things go wrong are normally the good ones, 4ourhouse are NOT one of those. Judging by reviews on here I'm not the only one. We seeking recompence through our credit card company. Are the Trust Pilot reviews also a scam then I wonder.”
“Sent wrong items out (my order had correct part numbers) Eventually managed to arrange return. Was assured it was a one off mistake. Reordered and incorrect parts sent again. Very difficult to contact anyone to resolve the issue, chat facility on website very limited when available, no telephone number published and emails just returned with 'stock' replies. Second return still not resolved after 1 week, with nobody appearing to want to take responsibility. Will not use again, at the moment still £70 out of pocket. Wife found parts on Amazon £30 cheaper and they were delivered within 2 days. Avoid and use Amazon instead.”
“SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!! Can’t believe I fell for this. I thought I was ordering a shelf directly from Beko, secure site padlock was displayed on website.
Order communication appears from 4ourhouse and bank transaction appears as Screwfix.
Order number given to track item is not recognised by Royal Mail and emails to 4ourhouse customer services are not acknowledged.
Have raised a dispute with my bank as item has not been received.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!”
“This company is a scam they take your money and do not send items, they said they have sent me my item by royal mail but I did not get it and they said I have to contact royal mail so they can send it back if not they will not refund me my money back until they get the item back from royal mail...but guess what the tracking number they give me for royal mail is not real its a fake tracking number as royal mail know nothing about this order or tracking number. DO NOT USE this company they are scammers”

“Bought a part for a carpet cleaner bissell brand in March, I was told it was out of stock end of July still no part but regular emails saying item will be there in 2 weeks. Item arrived late August by this point I no longer required as the machine was broken up trying to take it apart so I asked to send item back not even taken out of the bag it arrived in they gave details for return.
I then get a email to say they cannot give refund as the company went into administration during my purchase so they would give me voucher valid until 31st October 23
I have tried and tried to use this voucher ,I have spoke to roopa on the chat box who confirmed still valid , I email the company again explaining I want to buy spare part for fridge freezer they email back telling me voucher only valid for bissell , but my bank statement says payment taken by 4ouhouse.
Moral of story EVERYONE be aware this is a company that will scam you, I'm going to make sure the word is spread asmuch as possible my purchase was£16 I can see mire comments that have dents so much more ,maybe if screwfix are involved they may get fed up of all the bad reviews and actually do something about it”
“Same experience as most below. I cancelled an order for which I had waited for several weeks - eventually it was no longer needed. They claimed that 'Connect Distribution Services' had gone bust, had been taken over by Screwfix, and that I would get a Screwfix voucher within 10 days. No sign after 3 months and numerous fob off webchats and emails. Suddenly the long-cancelled product appeared and I duly returned it, but nothing has been heard since and it's a month since they should have received it. Obviously they have no intention of reimbursing my money. Deserve no stars at all.”
“The worse experience I have ever had with on line purchases. Communication is designed to send customers round the twist. E-mails show at least 5 different names for the company, including Screwfix! Someone needs to get a grip of basic logical procedures from the customer's point of view.
