You can't call anyone as they have no phone lines, so your options are Live Chat, which is truly dreadful, always busy, or email and await a response in 2 working days. I find that companys that handle things well when things go wrong are normally the good ones, 4ourhouse are NOT one of those. Judging by reviews on here I'm not the only one. We seeking recompence through our credit card company. Are the Trust Pilot reviews also a scam then I wonder.”
“Sent wrong items out (my order had correct part numbers) Eventually managed to arrange return. Was assured it was a one off mistake. Reordered and incorrect parts sent again. Very difficult to contact anyone to resolve the issue, chat facility on website very limited when available, no telephone number published and emails just returned with 'stock' replies. Second return still not resolved after 1 week, with nobody appearing to want to take responsibility. Will not use again, at the moment still £70 out of pocket. Wife found parts on Amazon £30 cheaper and they were delivered within 2 days. Avoid and use Amazon instead.”

Order communication appears from 4ourhouse and bank transaction appears as Screwfix.
Order number given to track item is not recognised by Royal Mail and emails to 4ourhouse customer services are not acknowledged.
Have raised a dispute with my bank as item has not been received.

“This company is a scam they take your money and do not send items, they said they have sent me my item by royal mail but I did not get it and they said I have to contact royal mail so they can send it back if not they will not refund me my money back until they get the item back from royal mail...but guess what the tracking number they give me for royal mail is not real its a fake tracking number as royal mail know nothing about this order or tracking number. “Ordered part for Hoover fridge from Hoover spares and got confirmation of order from 4ourhouse. Debited on October2. So far no delivery. Am told,now,part will ,hopefully,be available late November. Absolutely appaling customer service. Have written to ceo of Hoovercandy to flag the lack of trust in 4ourhouse which impacts the reputation of Hoover. Have ,today 19 October,cancelled my order and will wait for refund before considering other action ,which could include,based on the reviews on this site, filing for criminal proceedings.

“Bought a part for a carpet cleaner bissell brand in March, I was told it was out of stock end of July still no part but regular emails saying item will be there in 2 weeks. Item arrived late August by this point I no longer required as the machine was broken up trying to take it apart so I asked to send item back not even taken out of the bag it arrived in they gave details for return.
I then get a email to say they cannot give refund as the company went into administration during my purchase so they would give me voucher valid until 31st October 23
I have tried and tried to use this voucher ,I have spoke to roopa on the chat box who confirmed still valid , I email the company again explaining I want to buy spare part for fridge freezer they email back telling me voucher only valid for bissell , but my bank statement says payment taken by 4ouhouse.
Moral of story EVERYONE be aware this is a company that will scam you, I'm going to make sure the word is spread asmuch as possible my purchase was£16 I can see mire comments that have dents so much more ,maybe if screwfix are involved they may get fed up of all the bad reviews and actually do something about it”
“Same experience as most below. I cancelled an order for which I had waited for several weeks - eventually it was no longer needed. They claimed that 'Connect Distribution Services' had gone bust, had been taken over by Screwfix, and that I would get a Screwfix voucher within 10 days. No sign after 3 months and numerous fob off webchats and emails. Suddenly the long-cancelled product appeared and I duly returned it, but nothing has been heard since and it's a month since they should have received it. Obviously they have no intention of reimbursing my money. Deserve no stars at all.”
“The worse experience I have ever had with on line purchases. Communication is designed to send customers round the twist. E-mails show at least 5 different names for the company, including Screwfix! Someone needs to get a grip of basic logical procedures from the customer's point of view.

These orders today are traceable, and we are the Clients who finish the process when the order arrives. Nothing has ever arrived and they don't refund me, wanting to hold me back with Vouchers. “Took money and then said item out of stock. Order tracking did not work. I raised a concern with them via email reply to their email.fobbed off with response about postal strikes and later supply shortfalls due to dock strikes.Absolute rubbish.I made daiy requsts to cancel order but initially ignored.I contacted my bank to commence chargeback.suddenly i get an email and a phone call from them and they pay refund in full. I did check with bank and they confirmed this had occurred so at least my persistence and daily emails paid off.Nothing but hassle for 3 weeks and i would not recommend this website.Incidentally they also call themselves IGNITE so buyer beware !!. My personal feeling is that these people dont have access to any goods to sell. They are not registered at companies house .gov.uk either under that name .Check it out youself.”
