Bought a part for a carpet cleaner bissell brand in March, I was told it was out of stock end of July still no part but regular emails saying item will be there in 2 weeks. Item arrived late August by this point I no longer required as the machine was broken up trying to take it apart so I asked to send item back not even taken out of the bag it arrived in they gave details for return. I then get a email to say they cannot give refund as the company went into administration during my purchase so they would give me voucher valid until 31st October 23 I have tried and tried to use this voucher ,I have spoke to roopa on the chat box who confirmed still valid , I email the company again explaining I want to buy spare part for fridge freezer they email back telling me voucher only valid for bissell , but my bank statement says payment taken by 4ouhouse. Moral of story EVERYONE be aware this is a company that will scam you, I'm going to make sure the word is spread asmuch as possible my purchase was£16 I can see mire comments that have dents so much more ,maybe if screwfix are involved they may get fed up of all the bad reviews and actually do something about it

Same experience as most below. I cancelled an order for which I had waited for several weeks - eventually it was no longer needed. They claimed that 'Connect Distribution Services' had gone bust, had been taken over by Screwfix, and that I would get a Screwfix voucher within 10 days. No sign after 3 months and numerous fob off webchats and emails. Suddenly the long-cancelled product appeared and I duly returned it, but nothing has been heard since and it's a month since they should have received it. Obviously they have no intention of reimbursing my money. Deserve no stars at all.

The worse experience I have ever had with on line purchases. Communication is designed to send customers round the twist. E-mails show at least 5 different names for the company, including Screwfix! Someone needs to get a grip of basic logical procedures from the customer's point of view. A circus comes to mind - Terrible

DO NoT PLACE A ORDER.....review doesn't deserve one star they had my money I waited 2 weeks nothing came in post left 3 emails again no reply rang phone number but now not in use so raised a issue with Barclays for a refund with the merchant but got to wait 8 weeks for merchant to sort issue out..... Save you money stay away ...

I wouldn’t even give 1 Star. I though I was buying an item for my hoover, but in almost 90 days that item didn't arrive. These orders today are traceable, and we are the Clients who finish the process when the order arrives. Nothing has ever arrived and they don't refund me, wanting to hold me back with Vouchers. We all need to file criminal complaints against this supposed company, because I have the impression that it is a fraudulent scheme. *** DO NOT BUY WITH THEM ***

Took money and then said item out of stock. Order tracking did not work. I raised a concern with them via email reply to their email.fobbed off with response about postal strikes and later supply shortfalls due to dock strikes.Absolute rubbish.I made daiy requsts to cancel order but initially ignored.I contacted my bank to commence chargeback.suddenly i get an email and a phone call from them and they pay refund in full. I did check with bank and they confirmed this had occurred so at least my persistence and daily emails paid off.Nothing but hassle for 3 weeks and i would not recommend this website.Incidentally they also call themselves IGNITE so buyer beware !!. My personal feeling is that these people dont have access to any goods to sell. They are not registered at companies house .gov.uk either under that name .Check it out youself.

Give this mob a wide berth, they will take your money and give you nothing in return, it's an out and out scam! They aren't even registered with companies house! You have to wonder how they get 4 out of 5 stars on trustpilot!!!

Ordered a part after 2 weeks still not arrived, contacted many times using their customer service forms - ignored. Found a contact number for them but it's a premium rate line which left me waiting and then hung up costing a lot of money and still no resolution. AVOID THIS COMPANY. Yes it's cheap but in the long run you're better paying more to a reputable company.

Strongly suspect this company is a scam. Ordered a new hinge for my washing machine door but received no email confirmation or acknowledgement. The money was taken from my account a couple of days later. Now a week since placing the order and it is impossible to contact them - no live chat option, no phone number, and no reply to the online form. I don't have an order number or any proof of the transaction other than my bank statement. Will be claiming the money back from my credit card.

FRAUDULENT COMPANY - AVOID COMPLETELY!! I wouldn’t even give 1 Star. Ordered a part and returned it within a week, in early April 23. Constantly saying they need proof I returned the items, which I shared multiple times including photo evidence that the items were delivered and signed for by them. They have the items and my money! They aren’t refunding my £150 for freezer drawers. Don’t recommend this supplier at all! Will contact Indesit to complain about this company too as a supplier of their products. Give me my money back!!!!!!

The part I ordered for my Hoover vacuum has still not arrived, I ordered in March, it feels like a scam, they sent a email saying screwfix had taken over, my ordered could not be refunded but they would have the parts in stock in 4 weeks, blah blah.. Still nothing. then this morning some guy phoned claiming to be from 4ourhouse wanting to confirm my name and address, no no.. I told him email me, I feel these people are scammers.. Why are Hoover allowing this dodgy operation to take our money and give us nothing in return.

Placed my order 8th April, it’s now 9th May and still no sign of the item being despatched. No phone number to contact and on-line request form gets no response. So angry I’ve asked to cancel my order and given them until 24th May to refund or I’ll start Small Claims Court Action.

Never buy from this company they are scammers SPREAD THE WORD ordered spares for a cooker never received it after I asked for my refund they replied to me SAYING the company has been sold and has new owners and are still refusing to give my refund and they still talking orders People be aware of these scammers

Very much very strong disappointment reviews I agree with, I ordered and prepaid for an integrated door hinge for a Hoover tumble dryer almost 2 months ago, having emailing them and tried calling both numerous times including chat live, no reply or acknowledgment. With hindsight I should have ordered through eBay but was told by Hoover I could not get the genuine part, so stupidly didn’t. Checked on eBay, they guarantee the part and a third of the price cheaper with a delivery within 48 hours. Every time I called Hoover to complain about 4ourhouse , they took no responsibility telling me I would have to deal with them directly myself. As a major branded company, Hoover should be shameful, take responsibility and be accountable as they align themselves with a terrible supplier who are giving Hoover a bad name especially in customer care. I want to cancel and ask for a full refund, but they won’t until I receive the item (whenever that will be?) refuse and return it. My last communication with them was that I will report them to Standards Trading if I don’t get a satisfactory reply from them ASAP !!!…they are worth any Star ratings
