“Beautiful piece of engineering to make espresso. Very versatile because it doesn't have any chip to control the brew process. This method can last many years if you clean it very well. I recommend not leave drops of water inside the machine and avoid soaps because they can make it oxidative. I tested and I prepared good espressos. Please, consider variables such as pressing the coffee, extraction time, fire and amount of coffee ☕ to improve your espresso. I recommend this beautiful ❤️ machine. It is heavy and we'll built. I did an unboxing of 9barista on YouTube in Bogotá, Colombia.”

“Amazing. After running through the initial water only flushing exercise I noticed there was very little water in the portafilter. According to the folks at 9Barista this is normal and my first attempt with coffee was amazing, 3min30sec later Boom. Better than many/any shop espresso. What a fantastic experience.”

“I haven't used the espresso machine yet, as I've just got it few days ago. However, I noticed so far an world class packaging quality (I can't stress it enough) and a very good build quality. It really looks like it could last a lifetime.”

“I gave it 5 in honesty and reliability, I had issues with FedEx saying was delivered and it wasn’t, I have video proof got delivered the day after claiming it was, my complain was successful and 9 Barista is not only a great coffee machine, it also has great management and customer service. Thank you. I am happy to change my review for what really deserve.”

“I bought a refurbished/blemished unit and was very happy to find it essentially perfect. The 9barista works well, though I wish it came with better instructions on how to tell if the temperature is correct and a choice of regular or naked portafilter.”

“Sorry to say but was a Nespresso fan.... but started finding the coffee was not doing it for me. The wife still likes it so didn't want to have two machines on the work top. Decided on the 9barista stove top as it is small and can be stored in a cupboard. I can now say it makes an excellent 40g espresso. I have purchased a very good hand grinder to pair with it and it now makes an even better shot. Very pleased with the speed of service and the overall ease of use. Mornings have now have a new routine. Thank you.”

“Very well built product and makes great coffee. I don't have the space for a big espresso machine in my kitchen so this was the perfect option as it is so small. The coffee it makes is fantastic and I haven't found it to difficult to dial in.”

“After long consideration I bought the 9 Barista, mostly based on the design, and as an engineer, let's face it, the cool factor. Because how cool is it to have a non electronically self regulating stovetop espresso machine? It took several runs to dial in the grind and amount of the coffee (and flame size), but now my 9 barista produces espresso that beats my Delonghi Dedica hands down.”

““Review after a week of daily use” This is a niche product for coffee nerds like me, but it delivers more than good espresso. It gives you the same good espresso over and over, and therefore it is a great learning device for coffee aficionados. More precise and user-friendly than any non-PID espresso maker, it could become my one and only espresso artifact if I hadn’t concerns about its durability. Only time will tell. Two main cons are price and workflow. I chose the refurbished items for a little economy and no problem to date, but you are paying premium money for a premium product. As for the second inconvenient, you don’t buy this piece for caffeine partys: it’s your Espresso Satisfyer. For à deux use try this: make one cup, divide it in two ristrettos and enjoy 15 minutes of coffee conversation while you make the second one. Accessories needed: none, but the dosing ring and the IMS basket are nice improvements. Shipping was fast and easy. 9Barista Customer Service is outstanding. They understand their product and their clients, providing kind, informative and empathetic attention and after-sales care. Thanks to the crew! L”
