Unable to take up accommodation booked as flights cancelled due to COVID and British Nationals not able to enter the US. Emailed Alpha Rooms to see what they could do re a refund several times with no response. Tried calling, took ages to get through when I eventually was answered they asked if I was Insured then said to claim through them. I told them the Insurance Company would only pay if AR confirmed in writing they would not refund. I was then left on hold for over 15 minutes and then cut off. I have had the exact same scenario several times now. They are the most terrible company to deal with, totally unreasonable and appalling customer service. I would NEVER consider using them again, and would suggest no one else does!

How come this company is still able to operate and sell holidays? They stole my money - due Covid my holiday in April was cancelled and they initially confirmed they received my money back from both the airline and the hotel. Since that time they phone lines are cut off and they don't respond to e-mail. Milena Klimek

The most hidious company i have ever dealt with, i was probably calling catmandoo as you cant understand a word anyone is saying, they leave you on hold mulitiple times to talk to god knows who and you are subjected to listening to moronic music. whats more your refund takes up to 8 weeks. I never want to deal with this company again and they should not be running anything that involves the general public utter shambles.

My booking ref 495327980984 When is somebody going to call me. I need this sorting asap. I have been trying to speak to somebody since the 18th august and heard nothing. I have sent numerous emails, messaged on fb, and on my booking. Also emailed flora and not received one phonecall. Booked me into a hotel that is closed till 2021. Meant to be going away on the 12th sept. Want a refund as the hotel we booked is the one we wanted. Cannot believe that after having received 2 messenger messages stating I would receive a call within 48hrs which i didnt. Then to be messaged that i would get a call by the end of the following day. Still nothing. How hard is it to contact someone. Absolutely raging Saffron

We are attempting to get our holiday to Marbs amended due to quarantine restrictions the hotel have not received any booking from this company they have therefore taken 845 pounds the hotel in question are more than happy to move our stay however Alpharooms are claiming they are not willing to absolute scam of a company i am currently seeking legal advice !!

alpharooms sold ou an All Inclusive holiday and when we arrived at the hotel (all the way to Dubai) with two children we were told that they have only booked Bed and breakfast for us. It took 3-4 days for this to come clear, they said it must have been a typo error, which is of course a lie. The sales manager was Stuart and he clearly lied to us so that you purchase the deal. You need to be very careful when dealing with this people - they don’t answer their phones or cut you off after a very long wait, they do not reply to your emails so that you do not have any prove of the situation. I will be alerting the authorities and taking legal action and would urge anyone else who has experienced the same to do so.

We have had very much the same issue as others. We were due to fly to Turkey in June but the holiday was cancelled due to Coronavirus. I appreciate times have been difficult but Alpharooms customer service is appalling. They have refused to give me a refund stating they can only offer vouchers at this time. I replied saying I was looking for a full refund and was told that couldn’t be done as they were recouping their costs back from airlines and hotels and this was taking longer than expected. I now haven’t had any communication from then since June and they aren’t replying to my emails. You would think they would want to keep customers after all this is over. I certainly won’t use them again. That was out hard-earned money and a much needed family holiday. Very disappointing and frustrating.

Absolutely disgusting treatment DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE PIRATES. Spending hours on hold promises to call back and not heard a thing for my hotel booking. Disgraceful!!!!!!

Complete sham of a company , supposed to go Benidorm in june , Had an email from Ryanair to say the flights were cancelled , they offered me a voucher i declined the voucher but they continued to send a voucher for the flights but it was in my friends name , iam the lead passenger and i paid for 4 adults on my credit card £2500. Alpha rooms have never contacted me to say the holiday was cancelled , dont answer the phone emails , manage my booking , the worst company ever , and i hope they go bust . The goverment should step in and sort these rogue companies out .

Alpharooms are a complete sham I have been warning people about them on Trustpilot for months they are still taking money out of people’s accounts knowing well that the hotels are not opening and there are no flights. My question is why are they still taking people’s hard earned money from their accounts when they themselves don’t pay the hotels until the end of season. Why don’t you all email/write or phone your MP’s and report them to your local city council/ consumer complaints. Do it now ! They are the people who are breaking the law. You don’t have to accept worthless vouchers. Demand your money.

Terrible customer service. Ignore emails. No telephone contact. Have to wait a year for a refund. I appreciate that we are in the middle of a pandemic but they should at least be communicating. I will never use again and would not recommend.

They are an awful company, my daughter and her friends booked a package holiday with them for July unfortunately we had to cancel because there leaving cert was falling on the dates they were to head off, that was in March and they kept taken money out of my Daughter's account, they wouldn't reply to our emails, messager and chat we also found out that the hotel isn't opening at all this year, Alpharooms never told us we had to ring the hotel in Mallorca ourselves, we also had to cancel the flights because they were changed to another date, Aer Lingus refunded the money back into Alpharooms account and we still haven't received any money back, they are now saying we have breached our contact as we missed payments, we have all the bank statements, with all the payments paid to Alpharooms, they are trying to get out of paying my daughter and her friends there money back, they should be ashamed as the way they are treating there customers, I will never use them again.

Had holiday booked to Malta in June. Obviously cancelled Cannot get through on telephone or live chat and only reply to emails is that I can book another holiday. As I am 70 I want a refund as I have no intention of travelling abroad.

Booked a holiday to Spain for my son and his partner to travel in early May, obviously this was cancelled by Alpharooms because of Covid 19. Since then i have tried numerous times to contact them mainly via email as they are not taking calls to get a refund but they will not give refunds only credit notes and you can only apply for a refund in 1 years time. I have told them numerous times i do not want a credit note i want a refund but they will not give one even though the law says they have to within 14 days. I have now given up on ever getting my £1000 back and obviously taken the hit as i do not expect my son to pay me the money. I hope this company goes bust so they never take money off anyone else in the future, but if they don't go bust i would never use them again and advise anyone else who reads this not to use them either, even if it is cheaper than other companies. Anyone who finds themselves in the same situation good luck getting your money back.

Never book with this company Tried to cancel my holiday for the last six weeks via there website and email can’t via phone as supposedly customer service having new phone system installed. I have had no response until today where I was advised to be patient. Complete joke my policy states I can cancel up to 4 Oct with full refund minus cancellation fee but won’t cancel it. I am not cancelling due to any corona virus situation. I have contacted Trade and Standards BBC Watchdog and the TTA.and will spend time leaving reviews. Be warned do not deal with this company
