AWFUL DREADFUL EXPERIENCE.No holiday refund due to covid which was paid in full sept 2019. LIE AFTER LIE NO REPILES TO ANY WRITTEN EMAILS . JUST DONT WANT TO COMPLY. NEVER AGAIN

I have rung alpha rooms on numerous occasions and they keep fobbing me off saying you will your refund at at the end of the month which has been on going since june,rung today and spoke to manager(I think) and he said he is prioritising my refund and advised it could be by end of this month, I am so so angry,how can they get away with all our money Where do you go for help???

All of the negative reviews on here are genuine. We have a mirror image review and appalling experience with Alpharooms after being loyal high spending customers for many years. We have now had to report these rogues to UK regulator authorities, and also take court action against them with the Sheriffs Debt Recovery team. Be very careful. They have also been reported to BBC Watchdog and BBC Rip Off Briton.

We have now taken this rouge company to court for our money back, all the negative reviews on here are 100 percent accurate and mirror our own appalling experience of this bunch of crooks. We have also reported them to UK regulators and BBC Rip Off Briton.

Do not book with alpharooms. Trying to get my refund back since holiday cancelled in April. Since sept been told many times refund due in 3/4 days....this has now 10 weeks and still no refund. Just going around in circles. Now advised them in writing if payment not received in 7 days I’m taking them to small claims court. Had enough now they’ve had full payment since sept 2019 😡😡

booked a hotel on the thursday 12 november only to find out the spanish goverment had imposed a 72 hour covid test before entering the country.phoned to cancel but was left on hold for 75 minutes before realising no one was going to take the call so i hung up.i phoned next day at 8 am and was left on hold for another 30 minutes before i hung up.I then asked my son to get in touch via facebook who said they would be in touch on saturday 14th nov but it never happened.He contacted them again on the monday and again was promised they would contact me but suprise suprise it never happened.it took 10 minutes to book the hotel but impossible to contact for a refund.cannot cancel on my account because booking reference has not been confirmed so will not recognise the number.customer service an absolute joke.

The worst service I have ever received. Money taken even after cancellation then only a credit note offered in return. If you say you want your money back (which you are entitled to) they hang up the phone then say that you never called. Shocking way of working and the fact they are able to treat people this way in the current climate is morally wrong! PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!!

If there was an option for 0 stars, I’d of left that. Holidayed in Turkey in Sept 2020 and booked Hotel and transfers with AlphaRooms. We were left stranded at the airport in the early hours as our transfer didn’t turn up, tried all week to contact them but no success. The hotel tried at the end of our holiday when we were concerned our transfer may not turn up again, It didn’t. Hotel tried and managed to find the taxi company that AlphaRooms had booked through and they explained, and printed off proof in writing, that “AlphaRooms had cancelled our booking”. It cost us another £100 to pay for taxis both ways. On our return I have tried and tried to contact them, over twenty emails, numerous phone calls, even getting to speak to a foreign rep that said “they would pass on our concerns by internal email to “customer relations” and they would contact me within 28 days”, of course, that hasn’t happened. Apparently “there is no direct route to Customer Services, by phone or email”??. I contacted ABTA who are the Regulatory Body for all reputable travel companies but guess what, ABTA explained that AlphaRooms are not a member!! That says it all really. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY, they charge fees for even the most smallest amendment but should you encounter a problem whilst abroad or at home, you will not be helped, or even responded to. AVOID AT ALL COSTS...

Booked accommodation & transfers with Alpha-rooms for August 2021 plus flights with EasyJet. EasyJet then pulled out of Newcastle so no flights but got our money transferred back. Cancelled accommodation & transfers with Alpha-rooms £800 deposit in Sept 2020. Nothing but fight with them since. Promised refund via a Sept email in 6-8 weeks but was then told it was for a credit note that I had to use against another booking with these back street thieves & muggers or I'd have to wait till next August 2021 to request again for my money back. Stay clear because the way they've acted this year they'll be out of business next year. Customer support is rubbish - just keep telling you that's all there is so take it or leave it! If you book with these you might as well open your window & throw your money out into the street.

Alpharooms is an Absolutely horrendous company, STAY AWAY!!!! If you want peace of mind book hotels and flights directly, now it might be a little more money but you will be able to manage this for yourselves AS Alpharooms has withheld all my money from a cancellation holiday that WE Alpharooms and myself had an agreement that I was getting my cash Refund to my card and after months of waiting they decided not to give it and want to post date me a credit note which I told them I wouldn’t except.. This company is withholding thousands of customers monies from them it’s unbelievable how they haven’t been shut down or been arrested. How can people who work for these keep fobbing customers off when they’re entitled to there money back. If I could give Alpharooms a - star review I would, criminality going on here. 2 cancel booking: May 2020- PAHOS, SEP 2020-MALAGA This company is a disgrace they want to hold on to your money we have been passed from one person to another with no refund I will never use this company again! I booked another holiday at the same place same time same flight cancellation and I have had my refund in full but alpharooms with NOT refund

Why is this company still operating, they are stealing money from customers by not issuing refunds. Customers are owed hundreds of thousands of pounds,which should have been paid back.What makes it worse is that nothing is being done about it. Why are the regulatory bodies not doing anything about this company. This amounts to theft.I have been trying to get a refund back from ALPHAROOMS.COM for the last 4 months,but they don't seem to have any intention of refunding me, or anyone else, from what i can see. High time the directors were taken to court and prosecuted.

After taking my booking and money the customer service was appalling. I agreed to pay cancellation costs , as their terms and conditions even though it was outside my control. I have it in writing they would refund the balance. 2+ months later and still no refund and they are refusing to adhere to the agreement made with me when they set the terms I even wrote and made a complaint to Mr Edara, one of the Directors (Letter was signed for,)and he hasn’t had the decency to try and resolve or contact me so I will now take my complaint to the travel ombudsman to resolve. I will not leave this matter alone until I have the refund I am entitled to. I can’t emphasise enough “Avoid Alpharooms at all costs!!!)

Avoid at all costs as they do not adhere to there own terms and conditions I had to cancel a booking due to the pandemic and I agreed to pay the cancellation costs as per their terms and conditions 3 months later and 5 different promises and still no refund. Customer relations are a joke and the company directors don’t even respond or try to resolve complaints as once they have your money they do not care, I will never ever use this company again

Con artists. I booked a holiday in January with Alpharooms and paid in full. I got an email from them in February cancelling my holiday. Despite the fact they cancelled they refused to give a refund. They made as difficult as possible to get in touch, no replies to emails or calls. They tell you to contact them via their live chat. It’s useless as they just tell you you can’t get a refund. Fortunately I had all the evidence so managed to get a refund via my credit card fraud service. Complete thieves. Stay away from them.

I will never use Alpharooms again !!! I Booked a holiday with alpharooms in January. I booked our holiday for three people to Tenerife paid in full, I had to cancel my holiday due to covid 19 as my partner is a front line staff member and was not permitted to leave the country. I cancelled my holiday a month and a half before we were meant to fly out. When I cancelled my holiday on the alpharooms website didn't hear from them at all I had to ring them to make sure that the holiday was cancelled. I was told that someone will be in touch in a months time and that was it. A month and a bit passed and someone from alpharooms got on to me just bouncing emails back and forward getting nowhere. They refused to contact the hotel and the airline for a refund. I tried to contact the hotel and the airline but they would not accommodate me as I did not book the holiday. They have stopped replaying to all my emails and I still have not received any refund it has now been three months and still have not received any refund of any kind. Alpharooms have pretty much robbed me of my money. I would advice everyone to stay clear of Alpharooms. There is nutting Alpha about Alpharooms. If you want any more information on how Alpharooms treat there customers there is a facebook group called: Alpharooms no refund support.

Very familiar story as several people. Our hotel was cancelled 3 days prior to departure and Alpharooms suggested an alternative which had poor reviews so we declined and said we wanted a refund. After speaking to 3 different customer service employees (of Indian origin all with English names) we were told no refund was forthcoming until we accepted a voucher that can be exchanged for refund in 1 year........ yes 1 year. I explained I would take this further as what they are doing is illegal and got a refund by chargeback from Mastercard. THIS COMPANY NEEDS CLOSING DOWN
