Horrible customer service… Barclays seems to have poorly configured algorithms that randomly flag potential fraud. I have had equally peculiar request to confirm my identity even though I have had Barclays credit card for nearly 20 years and have not had any fraud on any of my Barclays cards. Fraud department froze Lo my accounts, gave conflicting and vague instructions regarding information I needed to provide and where it had to be sent. The agents were rude. Just a baseless, random, bureaucratic mess….

I was completely locked out of my trading account after my withdrawal request got rejected. It felt like my entire investment was at risk. I’ve heard of this happening to others too, and it’s honestly terrifying. But when I reached out for support, Mrs. Mercy and her team didn’t let me down. We have several charges on the credit card that we either 1) did not receive the product or 2) were not charged the correct amount. No help whatsoever from customer service. They always side with the vendor and not the customer. This is absolutely puzzling to me and without a doubt, it has been anything but a positive customer experience.

Losing $145,000 to a scam shattered me. I felt helpless and completely broken. That’s when I found Mrs. Mercy. Her team’s professionalism stood out right away. They didn’t sugarcoat anything—they gave me a clear roadmap and followed through with constant updates. I didn’t expect much, but they came through and recovered a large amount of what I lost. Their support made all the difference.

I thought I was the only person to have suffered with this terrible bank and the credit CRDS associated with it, but here I find tons of negative reviews. How I wish I had read it before dealing with them. They have the lowest level of customer service and security practices.

I was late on a payment and my credit was reduced from $14,000 to $450. No warning! No email! No text! No reminder. I always paid in full. But this company was quick to post negative messages on my credit report. Never received a message about making payments on time or in full. My last payment was for $7000. When I appealed, I was told I did not Qualified! Suspicious! How did I qualified for other credit cards with a credit of $15,000?

Failed to stand behind a cardholder even with professional inspection and photo evidence of a deceptive contractor who lied to us and then lied to Barclay's - who chose to believe the contractor

Trying to pay a bill by calling up and was on the phone for 45 min so far and 5 reps. Only 1 I could understand for some reason they can't figure out how to take my checking account number

Appalling I would give 0 if I could iv become wheelchair bound and needed help with a better interest rate as iv been with Barclaycard for 10 years and because I stopped working need to make payment copeable but Barclaycard won't help me

I have had Old Navy credit card for years. Have always paid my balance on time when l received my bill even when l had a large balance. I called about a dispute about 2 weeks ago and talked with a Barclays representative. I was on the phone with a lot of wait time( about 1 and a half hour) and was so rudely talked to with absolutely no resolution to my problem. As soon as l get my next statement l will pay and cut up my card. I will never deal with any Barclays Credit card people stay away from this horrible customer service company.

I have had my Barclays - Old Navy card for over 4 years. It has been paid on time and remained in good standing. I worked hard to pay this card off and keep it paid off, and this week it was CLOSED due to inactivity after I spoke to them last month and requested to keep it open. I advised them I have had multiple deaths in my family this year and haven't had the opportunity to frivolously spend at a clothing store. They ignored this and closed it anyway. I called today and was advised they cannot reopen my good standing 4 year old account and told me to open a new account. This will negatively affect my credit and I will not be opening a new account. Do NOT open an account with Barclays.

I have never had anyone speak to me or treat me this badly. In a world where credit cards are vying for business, these people do not care. Support works a very limited workday, and at night, good luck. If there is a problem, speak to someone overseas, and they will have someone call back in 24-48 hours, but they never really do that. I have called them over and over again. I would never ever recommend working with them. Find someone who understands customer service. These people clearly do not, and they remind you of their 'superiority' at every turn.

Their dispute center is the worst I have ever dealt with. You would think they would want to protect their consumers, but they do not. They just deny disputes even if you send them tons of proof.
