Absolutely agree with all comments. Received my boots and although says 39 more like 35. Zip broken and more like cardboard not leather and would definitely fall to pieces in the rain. No paperwork for return information. Beware.

Clarks shoes used to be great and I would buy nothing else . In last couple of years however the popular makes are discontinued it seems and less attractive ones offered . Trying to get size that fits I found impossible as every store did not have my size the popular 91/2 !

Took over a week, and a chase letter, to eventually be told the item was out of stock. No appology or explanation By that time all alternatives in the sale were gone. Why it takes so long to do a stock check at the warehouse is beyond me. Having been given a delivery date at the time of order you would have at least expect someone to notice the order had not progresed after it was supposed to be wih the customer.

I recently bought the Tallow Evie bag in the Walthamstow branch in London. When used it for the first time the straps kept disconnecting from each other and as a result fell off me and on to the ground. i ended up having to carry the bag in my hands. I decided to take the bag back to the store. I approach the store manager and told her the issue with the bag. She began by insinuating I was wearing the bag wrongly and that I couldn't have a refund because I had used the item. I was shocked because one I had explained that there was a problem with the bag and secondly when I was trying to talk to her she seemed to have an answer for everything. I asked her to give me the customer service number along with her name which she did since she had refused to give an entitled refund to me. After getting through to customer to a lady by the name of Elaine and explaining my situation I was given a reference number and told to hand it to the Linar the manager and to get her to call Elaine back. The manager went to the back of the store to make the telephone call and it is my belief that she tried to argue against a refund for the returned bag. I spoke to Elaine after the manager spoke with her who proceeded to tell me that the manager was not going give me a refund as it was at her discretion. Again I was forced to argue my point as I had a legal right to a refund on a product that was not fit for purpose. Then she suggested crediting my account with the money which I agreed to. I was asked to return the phone back to the manager who went to the back of the store and returned after approximately 7 minutes. When she came back she went behind the till and said to me that she was going to give me a refund just this once and that I wouldn't be entitled to future refunds. I told her that I wouldn't be returning to her store again and that she needed retraining in order to deal with customers properly. That encounter put me in a bad mood. I felt as if I was being treated like some criminal for exercising my right as a consumer. I did speak to head officer again to complain about the way I had been treated. They in turn told me that they were going to speak with the area manager about visiting the store to talk with the manager about her conduct. Whether this will happen I don't know but I will complain further in a letter to Clarks as this situation should never have occurred.

Do not shop from them. I got a shoe, and then returned it for size issues. The refund is still not done. Almost 50 days in.

Horrible customer service! Cannot understand them and no one speaks English very well. Offered me a 25% discount and said it cannot be applied to after they ship the item. Called them again they never applied it and argued with ignorant person named Lauren . Will be calling my credit card next to dispute! Do not order from Clark’s website!

Ordered 2 pairs of shoes online £155, arrived very quickly, they were not right for me so I took them to the Clark’s Shop near me for a refund as it said I could on my invoice. Sorry can’t do refunds here I was told, you can leave them and I will deal with it the manageress said. Ok I leave the shoes, can I have a receipt to say there are in the shop, no we can’t do this. Have been in touch with Customer Support twice, who are based in South Africa still waiting, at least some acknowledgment to say they have my shoes, never mind a refund. Why does Clark’s say return your shoes to a store for a refund when this is not the case? Very disappointed!!

These shoes are garbage. They fell apart within 2 weeks. They were shipped by boat from china. Took nearly 1 month to get here. I bought them off an ad while i was playing ten crush. 60.00 for 2 pairs. Dont wate your money. Only buy from us companies made in usa. NEVER AGAIN

Both my husband and father bought Clarks shoes and both had the soles come away within a few wears and had to glue them back on. This is terrible quality compared to years ago

Ordered - waited and waited and waited. Product arrived very late. Didn’t fit. Returned - still waiting for credit to my card. Called - was in gueue for over an hour. No answer Next step - contact my NYS assemblyman

Ordered Online - a pair of Men's Shoes size 11, Clark's delivered size 10 ? How hard can it be to select the correct size!!!!! So, I had to go to the local Clark's shop to get a refund (or pack it all up and return it). Why do companies like Clark's employ staff who cannot read or cannot be bothered to do the job properly.....and when it goes wrong, its the customer who is left to sort it out......not a happy customer.

Horrible company to deal with. Ordered online. Received a pair of shoes that were terrible stinky vinyl. Badly made. Gobs of glue everywhere. Requested a refund. Was told to return the shoes but to be aware the shipping fees would cost more than the shoes. Was offered a discount to keep the shoes and partial refund was promised. Months later... no refund. They won't respond to my emails. Lost my money and threw the shoes in the garbage. DO NOT buy from this company!!

Looking at their description on providing superior shoes etc are all but a scam. Their products are of super inferior quality and the customer service is horrendous and pathetic. Luckily they do not have a reviews page but I think they took it down because they would have gotten 0 star. Rubbish brand. This will be my first and last time buying from this brand. Too bad there is no zero star.

Returned a pair of boots, Clarks sent me a email saying they received them and would refund my money in fourteen days that was a month ago not responding to my emails will never order from them again

What a scam! The shoes I got look nothing like the advertisement. A bunch of cheap material with no support. The customer service is so bad. They will not give me my money back and think I'm going to mail these to china. Never do business with these crooks!

My problem is with clarksnice these are nothing but poor knockoff's from china! The leather is vinyl and it stinks! There is nothing orthopedic about these shoes, and it appears that getting a refund will cost me more than the shoes because I need to return them to china!!!! Really! Do not fall for this scam!!!!!

This product is a scam. I was sent a big pair of shoes to what I ordered. Most importantly, the upper shoe material is not leather as described nor was it a quality vinyl. It was make of plastic upper which does not even hold its shape. When I complained about it, I was told that they will give me a 15% discount or I can. mail it back to China. They also indicated that they do not refund money based on poor quality.
