Good morning, We have just returned from a weeks break on the broads aboard Symphony 3 from Barnes brinkcraft in wroxham. I understand the boat is being retired form service very soon and I can only say I wish that had happened before our holiday. The boat felt grubby and uncomfortable. With only four of us on board we at least had some spare beds which was just as well as we all got wet during the night when it rained. My son had to move out of the double space at the bow as his bedding was very wet. The cabin hood derailed every time it was used, meaning that someone had to climb out to re set it which wasn’t the best of options when it rained and surfaces were slippery. The beds were hard and very uncomfortable and had a horrible grubby smell to them. Really spoiled what might have been a wonderful holiday. Sincerely Gill Dixon.

I was very disappointed I phone to check if the accommodation I was booking was OK for someone in a wheelchair I was told it was and I would have caravan with a ramp but no five very steep steps to front door she can walk a little bit but is very unsteady and has falls I phone and was told basically tough we not going to do anything very rude and unhelpful. Luckily we can just about managed but what would happen if we couldn't get her up the steps we would had to go home will not be booking with them again

We have had many holidays with Hoseasons over the years and would have always recommended them. This year we were advised to book early because holidays in the UK were in high demand. We are due to go on a holiday in 7 weeks time and have noticed that this holiday has now been reduced by nearly £200. We feel we have been ripped off by Hoseasons and in future will never book early again. We are used to holidays going up and down by £20 - £50 but have never seen a holiday go down by this much. Where is the incentive for customers to book early. Also you cannot ammend your booking after you have paid for your holiday which is 10 weeks before you go.

I booked a wheelchair friendly caravan holiday for July 2020 for me and my sister who has cerebral palsy. Paid a deposit of £125 plus cancellation insurance of £47. As we couldn’t take it in 2020 I rebooked for July 2021. Surprise surprise the price was increased. Unfortunately since then my sister developed terminal cancer and is now on end of life care. The process of cancelling our holiday went smoothly I had to send in a doctors report of her condition and I received a prompt response from the insurance company confirming the cancellation and refund of £18 !!!! I queried this and was shocked to learn that they charged £60 admin fee. Whatever they had to do to cancel this booking surely wouldn’t have taken more than 10 minutes.

Trying to get hold of them via phone and it's almost impossible. I originally had a hot tub cottage booked for the holidays (I booked this last Sep) anyway in Feb they phoned me and said that the holiday place had "accidentally" double booked it. This was an £1100 holiday which when I went on the site had changed to nearly £2000 for the same week (obviously they decided to get more for the week I'd already booked) so I re-booked from slim pickings a caravan in Sussex but I've been looking at the Google and trip advisor reviews and it's just awful and nothing like the booking I originally had. Can you get through to them to cancel? Nope, I don't care if they keep the deposit I just don't want to be charged more for a holiday I don't want to go on.

Stayed at applegrove country park in Scarborough, on arrival found our accommodation to be more a caravan than a lodge. Paid £588 for 4 nights in a delux 3 spa, if this was deluxe I would hate to see a basic. The site was secluded as advertised, on entering the accommodation it felt dirty. My husband sat on the 2 seater sofa and immediately found someone's vape that had been left behind. The bed setee in the front room was ready for the tip and could not be sat on, Luckily there was only 2 of us and it was not required as a bed. The main bathroom smelt of damp/urine and the radiator leaked. Utensils in the kitchen drawer and the inside of the oven were dirty obviously hadn't been checked in-between guests, luckily there were only 2 of us as there was not enough bowls / cutlery for 6 people. The main bedroom was about the best room the bed was comfortable and the on suite toilet was clean and smell free. John the on site handyman and a lady who we never met but spoke to a couple of times were always very helpful. Left a day early as could not bear to spend another uncomfortable evening in the living area. We have stayed at a few places advertised through hoeseasons and this is the only one we have not been happy with

we booked a Gold 2 caravan at stanwix holiday park, we booked this caravan because on the hoseasons web site it showed an armchair in it. We paid £100 extra for this caravan because of the better seating. When we got there we were disapointed there was no armchair, we complained to stanwix but they said it was Hoseasons fault for showing the wrong picture. The picture they showed was for a Gold 3 caravan. I have complained to Hoseasons through resolver and through an email but they have not bothered to reply. We have booked through them before but not again

Sneaky hoseasons. Booked a holiday and a few days later they emailed to say, I gave to leave £100 against loss or damage and this will be paid back 7 days after departure. They dont state that in the booking.

We rented a cottage last week, which was lovely. But was told we couldn’t enter the cottage till 5pm because of deep clean, well it was not clean there where dog hairs everywhere, big lumps of them under the sofas. We also had to leave at 9am,instead of 11am.so we have lost 4 hours of our holiday which we had paid for.Tried to phone them a week before to ask questions but no answer, phoned up to 5 times a day for a week, not happy will not book with Hoseasons again.the neighbours was not very welcoming, with a woman knocking on the door at 9pm waking up my grandson, telling us where we can and can’t park our cars.

We emailed Hoeseasons a week before our holiday as they said we had 48 hrs if we wanted to change our holiday as some of the facilities in the park were not open.As we has booked a hot tub we wanted to make sure that would be working.Hoeseasons did not even bother to reply. Then we phoned, only to be told by recording go call later as they were busy.Kept trying but no luck.We then emailed Shearbarn direct and got and instant friendly reply.Great customer service Shearbarn..

Falsely advertised lodge details, paid for better quality than we were given. Complained at reception and by email, but no joy. Lodge we were put in was dirty, no essentials, really uncomfortable sofas, be aware of what you book.

I have had some great holidays with Hoseasons in the past. this refers to the holiday I canceled today. The site I was due to visit in September has declared that all amenities are closed for the rest of the year, so not a lot of point in going! But still loosing my full deposit even though the site ,advertised as a full holiday experience by Hoseasons is mostly closed! Hoseasons couldn't be less interested! What has happened to a once great holiday institution? Come on Hoseasons everything in writing still? Its 2020 not 1952!

Booked holiday and paid extra for cancellation insurance. Be very careful to read there policy first. Turns out you need a letter from god if you need to cancel. They will do and say anything in order not to give your money back. A COMPLETE SCAM.

Caravan damp, the beds in the twin bedrooms were not wide enough for an adult. The fire did not work properly. Also the person in charge of the club she is not a people person and can be quite rude. We did not know that the Brixham site was not wholely owned by yourselves as it doesn't say that on line. It was an experience not to be experienced again. Even the sugar went damp and the bedding on the beds.

Just arrived back from a weeks holiday at Brimham Rocks cottages, stayed at the Willow. The good point was that the hot tub was great, reserved car park next to the cottage & the double bed was comfortable and nice clean bedding sheets, oven & kitchen cutlery were clean. The lady showed us around the site was very polite and helpful However, the bad points were as follows :- The general condition of the cottage was poorly maintained. Shower was old and could not fully turn off the water, no shelf in shower for putting shower products, shower door did not shut properly, no shaving socked available in the bathroom, we were constantly re-attaching the toilet seat to the toilet, bathroom & bedrooms had bubbled walls & were painted but was flaking off the walls during our stay, I assume due to damp issues. No Kitchen hood & did not feel totally at ease in the case of a fire, as the open plan spiral staircase to the 1st floor bedroom & bathroom, with no access to get out in the event of a fire at ground floor from the kitchen & lounge area (no fire door). the flooring under & around the bed was very springy & felt the flooring could go at any time. Very poor internet service & TV reception kept coming in & out with freezing picture & loss of sound. I also learned that 'romantic' means 'very small'. Stayed at Woodland Lodges near Thirsk some years ago & this site was the exact opposite with fantastic facilities all very new with a fantastic shower area. We have been on about 6 holidays with Hoseason, but after experiencing this weeks holiday, our confidence with Hoseason Holidays has been badly dented. This site by some distance was the worst place we have ever stayed at.
