PlumbNation's customer service is shockingly bad - once you have confirmed and paid for your order they don't really care if, when or how your goods arrive. After waiting in all day, the boiler that we'd ordered did not arrive. Customer Service did not even acknowledge my email queries to them until I escalated my concerns via PayPal for a full refund. After some communication, I was finally contacted directly by the courier company to arrange a new delivery date. When the goods arrived, they were soaking wet, as they'd clearly been left outside in the rain for days. Again, I contacted PlumbNation Customer Services and was only contacted back when I addressed my concerns via PayPal (not their own cutomer service email address). Due to potential water damage of the goods I agreed to an exchange - what a mistake that was, I should've insisted on a full refund! The delivery of the new boiler to exchange for the water damaged one was arranged by PlumbNation and I was sent an email confirming my new delivery date. Again, they advised they couldn't guarantee a specific time so I'd have to wait in all day. Luckily, because of the issue with our first delivery, I had the number of the courier company. I contacted them directly (on the delivery date stated by PlumbNation) to ask what time to expect my delivery, as I was unable to stay in all day for a second time. The courier company advised that my delivery wasn't on their schedule for today but after the weekend - 3 days later! To hear this was extremely disappointing as PlumNation had confirmed in writing (via email) to me a Friday delivery but had then scheduled it with the courier company for the Monday after! Had I not had the courier company's phone number that would have been a second day wasted, sitting at home, waiting for a delivery to arrive that wasn't coming. In the end my husband drove over to the courier company's depot to exchange the goods himself! And it was a good job that he did as when he arrived, our pallet of goods was sitting outside in the rain! Had we waited for the goods to be delivered to us on the Monday, who knows how soaking wet they would've been! I emailed Shaun McGee, PlumbNation's Customer Service Manager on 1st November regarding the goods not being delivered on the date specified for a second time, that my husband had to take time out of his own working day to do the boiler exchange himself and that for a second time our pallet of goods had been left outside in the rain! The date is now 15th November and I still haven't received a reply from Shaun McGee or anyone else in the customer service team to acknowledge the numerous issues we have had with our order. This is the first time we've ever used PlumbNation and it will certainly be the last! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.....the £50 or whatever you might save is honestly not worth it considering the days you may have to miss from work to wait at home for your delivery that is more than likely not coming and then electrical goods arriving soaking wet after being left outside in the pouring rain. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!

I really wish I had looked at these reviewed before hand. Like others on here my delivery missed it's expected data and they provide no tracking information. I should have just ordered from a competitor (SND) who I ordered another item from a day later and it came within 48hrs! If I could change this to zero stars I would. Like other reviews I have now been told my order will take 16days, rather than the 2-4 days, again after promising me it would be delivered after I chased. Dreadful.

The delivery date for my electric fire came and went. I then received an Email confirming my delivery and would I like to leave a review. I made a complaint and must admit got a prompt response. My fire was delivered a week later. The fire is great but PlumbNation needs to sort out its deliveries. Would I use them again? No - couldn't stand the excitement!

I would highly recommend stay away from this cowboy company. Placed a order on 14.10.21 and today is 03.11.21 . Still nothing delivered just keep receiving email that my order gone be delivered on this day or that day.... just read other people bad comments and make your own decision. I regret that moment when I made the purchase before read the reviews from other people experience.

Ordered a thermostat on the 06/10/2021, still no thermostat so i rang to cancel the order. They take your money for goods they know they don't have. Avoid

Have been waiting for 10 weeks for Hot Water cylinder. Still waiting and keep getting lead time pushed back. Joke of a company. Avoid at all costs as they’ll kill your building project.

Ordered an insinkerator that I needed quickly as I was having a kitchen installed. It advertised it as being available and would be delivered free within 5-7 days. 24 hours later, I received an email saying it would not be delivered for a full month ! What use is that !!

I was given a delivery date. Took the day off from work, I'm self employed so lost a days money. The delivery didn't arrive, no phone calls received and no apology. I was told to remain home from 8am until 6pm. When I spoke to someone at Plumbnation they told me delivery was nothing to do with them as it was down to their supplier. They claimed to only have contact with the supplier via email and didn't have a telephone number. I bought the radiators from Plumbnation so therefore the awful service is totally down to them. My plumber was booked for Saturday so I've also had to cancel that.

After reading some of the reviews on this page after placing an order I was concerned something would go wrong. However I was proved wrong. Phone query answered promptly by Liam, item delivered on requested day and very happy with my new electric fire which was £75 cheaper than anywhere else. Thank you

I really wish I had read the reviews here first!! The same experience as cited below. Took my payment etc, "confirmed" delivery then ... nothing. No response to emails, phone calls. I am now trying my credit card company for a refund. My part was the timer control for a not so old boiler. Subsequently talked to a gas fitter who told me these were no longer available!! DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!

Terrible terrible customer service. I ordered a toilet which had very very fine print that said it did not include a cistern or seat. My fault, admittedly. I emailed to request a return (I was happy to pay the cost of return delivery) and after around a week I was told my return had been accepted and they would arrange collection for me. 4 weeks and countless emails later and I still haven't had the item collected or my refund issued. I usually get a reply to my emails within 24-48 hours apologising for the delay and promising to fix the issue... then radio silence. Trying to call is useless. I usually give up after being on hold for 20 mins or more. Very frustrated and very disappointed by such a low level of after-sales service.

I have had this experience several times now, so not a one off. They take your order and money, even if the item is not in stock at the suppliers. They send you a confirmation e-mail with a confirmed delivery date. When this date comes and goes with no delivery, it then transpires that no item was ever in stock. It's deceitful and poor business practice. The effort that you have to go through then to even get them to answer the phone is painful, ALL calls to them take in excess of 30 mins to get answered, sometimes with the phone being put down on you upon answering. A very stressful experience. I am a trade customer as well, a plumber who needs factual information from suppliers in able to run my own business successfully. I have given them enough chances now to treat me with the basic amount of respect. Time to stop giving them my business.

Avoid this company at all costs. They will take your money for products which they either do not have or are not interested in supplying, they will not communicate this to you and you will spend weeks on the phone chasing the order to be told that they will 'speak to distribution' about it and email you back immediately. No emails or calls ever arrive and you will be back to phone roulette having given up obtaining the product but now in search of a refund. No refund will arrive. My boiler cost over £2,500 and never arrived. I am starting a court action on Monday.

Delivery fine. Top 2nd heater packing ripped. Parts missing. Numerous emails sent. TrIed phoning loads times cannot get answer. Eventually email response going to send returns label. Nothing. Emailed again. Label sent to me. Parcel has never been collected. Emails sent again. No response. Customer service appalling. Will I get refund? Not seeming likely. Nearly 3 weeks later. Not holding out much hope. Wish I had read reviews bef ore ordering. More bad than good. Shameful.JC

Ordered a dimplex false flue pipe that was described as in stock ! Paid online and received e mail saying item was not in stock but would be sent within a few weeks once in stock ! That was over a month ago now we are still waiting ! This company needs checking out by trading standards as this type of behaviour seems to be the norm !

Well I did get refund if 5 days is prompt. The item I ordered was a boiler which they don't stock and was told it was obsolete and no longer made. So why is it on the website? If you are going to use Plumbnation my advise is to make sure they have the item before you order. That is if you can get through on the telephone and I am still waiting for them to answer my emails.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! If you want your item 40 + days after you purchased it and have to write, 1 email to the managing director who will not reply. Type 3 live chats, have 4 telephone calls to track your item and delivery slot down and in the end just get a refund cos you are so worn down..Then this is the perfect company for you!

PlumbNation take your money immediately and it's up to you to try and get it back. Some sort of game they play, you will be promised 3 to 5 day delivery well that comes and goes, then to cancel and get your money back is like pulling teeth and watching paint dry . Then there is customer service ? what customer service they're not interested and rude then eventually ignore you. Something is not right about them, be warned all you good people out there ,also check Facebook reviews there's too many unhappy honest people with the same painful story to tell . Be warned
