TKMAXX lost my parcel for over 1 month. They refused to give me a refund and asked me to stay in for the package on ten occasions. Each occasion I waited in the whole day - it was never delivered. They then said if they find the parcel they would send it to me as a good will gesture - only to find it and keep it. Ive lost all respect for the brand. They are rude and abrupt on the phone and lack the service skills you anticipate of a store in the UK.

I purchased a bag at Tk maxx in Selly Oak Birmingham. There was a problem with the till, they had had a new system. I was told the transaction didn't go through. However, I was charged twice. After speaking to the store manager, I got in contact with customer service who arranged for a refund. I was also told that I would receive a £5 gift card for my trouble. No gift card arrived, thought I was just being fobbed off, and I have to wait 5/6 days to get my money back. I was told that this is very unusual, however, a relative had the same problem in the city centre branch a few weeks ago. They seem to have a problem. Not impressed at all.

I really don't think this company deserves any stars! I returned a bag bought before Xmas, still waiting for a refund!!!!!! I was informed by a member of staff that I could get a full refund with a gift receipt until the 28th January 2018. I returned the bag to the Maidstone branch on the 14th January, was told I could only have a credit note. When I refused to accept a credit note because members of staff told me that I could have a refund, the staff member called security to have me escorted off out of the shop!!!!! I contacted TKMaxx customer services, who appeared to be sympathetic and apologised for the way I was treated asking me to return the bag via post quoting a reference number, on receipt of the bag I would be contacted to make arrangements for me to receive a refund. Two weeks passed, no communication, no refund! I rang customer services again, they apologized for the delay in getting back to me and then offered to send me a credit note!!!!!!!!! They are now denying that they promised me a refund........... What is really scary is that calls are not recorded, they just take notes.....I am now being told that the notes do not say that I was promised a refund, which is completely untrue. I insisted on speaking to a Manager and was promised a call ball within 24hrs. Yes, you guessed it, I'm still waiting weeks later. I have rung Head Office many times and can't find a way of speaking to a Manager or a person of authority without going through the same customer services team who mislead me. I have been lied to on more than one occasion, I have been humiliated in one particular store and I am still waiting for a refund for goods that I purchased and returned before the end of January 2018 . Perhaps a member of the TKMaxx/Homes Sense Management team would like to tell me how I can communicate with a person in authority who has some integrity and will resolve this matter once and for all.

Ordered two pairs of Michael Corrs jeans uk size 22 online. Received order to find out they were tiny size. Took them back to store and they were baffled too as everything said uk size 22. All they could surmise was that it was in inches and not a size 22. Extremely disappointed.

I have been a dedicated shopper online and in store for a good few years now . However in the past couple of weeks I have had two orders go missing in the system after having both orders acknowledged and money taken. By the time I managed to speak to customer service after waiting on the phone for ages I was told it would take up to 48 hours for their email to be read and acted upon . The orders were already 5 to 6 days in the system and of course when warehouse eventually acted the items were no longer there . What is the problem, is it when you only order under £50 you are discriminated against. I don’t understand how an order can be lost twice in the space of 2 weeks to the same person . I did send a complaint which hadn’t up to now had a response, it’s a very disappointing situation, I will not shop online with TKMaxx again . Kevin Moore

Online ordering terrible! Do not shop on their website. After messing up my order first time, on the second one they sent me the wrong sizes. As compensation I was offered my postage money back and a"sincere" apology. Appalling service!!!

Online shopping is terrible!! Wrong items arrived. Slung into the packaging. Bags all split and half open. Wrong sizes sent and no care taken at all, items all thrown in with no care. No response from customer services. Disgusting. Avoid!!!!

bought David Burke kitchen Pots and pans in copper finishing. after few washing the Copper coating peeled off. its a cheap plastic like coating and not copper. the pots were not cheap. the tk maxx dont take no resposibility as no receipt ! you think you are getting genuine items but they are bad product. i am very disappointed

Bought shoes from them 3 weeks ago, after 2 uses the shoes was torn on one side!! After an effort going back to the Epsom store they didnt make any effort to find the purchase on their system, instead the young manager asked me to go home and bring bank statement to show purchase!! So I left the shoes with her and told her to keep it as a proof of bad service. I worked for Debenhams when I was at Uni.. they offered great customer service and accepted to refund faulty (or bad quality) items straight away with minimum hassle to the customer. i will never buy from again

I purchased a bedsheet which was faulty, made a complaint to their customer services only to be told they will not take responsibility or compensate me for any damage. The sheet dye bled through my mattress protector and damaged my mattress. Furthermore, following a light wash, the sheet turned from dark grey to light olive. It was clearly defective product and a disappointment that TKMaxx fail to address the complaint satisfactorily.

Worst online shopping service - Avoid! When you buy online, tkmaxx can change your order, a few days after the confirmation email, by cancelling items and at the same time they won't let you change the order anymore. Support service is not helpful at all. I bought a pair of tables and they cancelled one of them 2 days later. I called support to cancel the other one, as I wanted the pair, and they told me they would cancel the delivery and refund me the next day. They didn't cancel the delivery, instead delivered the table to a random neighbour, and they haven't refunded me yet, claiming that now I have to get the table from my neighbour and return it back to tkmaxx for them to do the refund. After calling and calling again and talking to a few "senior managers", I asked them to commit to a day and a time slot for collection, they said they would send me an email with the details. Haven't heard back since.
