Manager at IOW implied a faulty suitcase was mishandled by the airlines who throw them about. However, it was hand luggage that did not leave my possession. This was despite it being faulty and the burden being upon TK max to prove it was not faulty as it’s is less than six months old. The response was to avoid responsibility at any cost and to make inappropriate judgements about me/others. I work hard for my money and expect a product to be fit for purpose and of good quality.

DO NOT USE TKMAXX ONLINE Ordered item from TKMAXX wrong item was delivered. Told it was my responsibility to return! They sent the wrong item which they admit! Anyway told I would be refunded postage and because it was a heavy item I could arrange a courier collection. Waited in for courier collection with Evri. A week had past and no move on the tracking. I had to contact Evri numerous times eventually item delivered to TKMAXX having spent hours trying to sort out. I was sent an email to send courier invoice to by TKMaxx which I did. Didn’t hear anything so contacted them using same email to be told they hadn’t received it. Strange as same email address and it was in my sent box! Sent a further 2 times once as an attachment the other a photocopy in the email. I still haven’t heard anything. This was their error and I have had to spend hours trying to sort it! Do not buy from TKMAXX online if they send you the wrong item you’ll be left to sort out their mess! I contacted them the day wrong parcel delivered the 9th July and I’m still waiting for my postal and item refund! Today is the 23rd July

branch of… Do not ever go to the Bury branch of Bloody TK Max, in fact its should be renamed MAD MAX with staffs like racist fat old woman at the check out doubting customers returning faulty items, she couldn't read the bar code due to her heavy weight bulging eyes but luckily there was an Asian guy on the next till who was a great help to everyone. TK (MAD MAX) shouldn't be allowed to sell second hand clothes, they should not allow Racist fat ugly women at the till. Avoid this MAD place at all cost, the prices on the shelf will be different than the tills so be careful. They are a bunch of untrained people

First of all I want manger to contact me Because this is ridiculous I ordered slippers on Monday 20th of June waiting for it to come max end of the week per Saturday because I’m travelling on Saturday late I received an email saying I’m gonna receive my parcel on 28th of June I called the customer service on 24th they advise me to order new one and I’m gonna have it next day delivery so I’m gonna receive it Saturday before my flight Which I did and I ordered new one with next day delivery options cost nearly £7 I received an email saying my delivery gonna arrived on 27th After my flight This is a joke I called the customer service Kinza such rude person ever seen ask here about manger name she declined to give it to me And his email address she said this is the policy She think only her work in hospitality Reference numbers of the call cs5930732 I need assistance please as soon as Any further assistance do not hesitate to contact me Kind regards

Deceitful tactics used to avoid customers getting refunds for faulty items. Tried to get a refund on a £90 jacket because the cheap plastic zipper broke just 5 months after purchase. I was initially told that I can only get a refund up to 28 days, despite me making it clear that i'm NOT returning it because I don't like it but, but because it is FAULTY. I read out the law to them about consumer rights, stating that i'm entitled to a refund within 6 months if the item is faulty. The snake oil salesman that was dealing with me went on the earpiece to the manager then came back to me asking if I had bought it online or in-store. I said I bought it online and collected it in-store. When I told him I bought it online he immediately said that I couldn't get a refund on it. I got him to clarify whether faulty items less than 6 months after purchased cannot be refunded if bought online. He again said yes. I wasn't sure at the time whether he was right or not, but I spoke with Consumer Rights Scotland and they told me that I was entitled to a refund before 6 months regardless of whether I bought it online or in-store. The next time I went in I spoke to the manager about this and her face gave away that she knew they were in the wrong. When I asked to know who the guy was that was dealing with me, they acted dumb and said they have loads of men that work here. I took a look around (all the workers I could see were female), I asked, how many men work here? She said, seemingly exasperated at this point, we have QUITE A FEW. I told her I would be able to identify him or describe him, and I described him, to which she said she "thinks she knows who I am talking about". Nonetheless they still tried to blag that it was a misunderstanding, to which I replied that either the manager is is incompetent and not fit to run the store or one of their workers is ignoring the managers advice and deceiving customers. They had no reply but hurriedly tried to fast-track the refund and get me out the door.

Bought self tan yesterday. I opened the bottle at home to see how much it’s in it because it felt very light, IT WAS HALF EMPTY!

I went to Tottenham hale branch and i ourchased some hot chocolate that were redeuced price which is £2.50. I bought three boxesof those. When i went to the tile, there were rwo girls who were really unprofessional. They scanned the first box and the orice was £2.50 then for the second boxshe told me the price was £7 although the clearance offer was £2.50. I asked the girls to go upstairs and check herself but both of them weresuper rude and said they dont have time for that although therewas no queues and you can check the transactions. I was so upsetasthey did not even bother to call for someone to check. I called for a manager who came and checked and advised that the price of £2.50 was correct it was only incorrectly labelled. One of the girls left and the other corrected the tra saction and when i paid she said i did not pay and i had toinsert my card for £19. Then the very same girl took the receipt snd just threw it on the table. I was wirh my 12 years old daughter and i was so upset..... I am aregular customer with Tk maxx but from now on i will never ever buy anything from you and i will postthis on facebook as customers should not be suffering because of such unprofessional custumer services. This is really wrong and i expect you to look into it

When requesting for a refund with a faulty product, they wouldn't want to do that claiming it was a food related (sea salt) product. customer service team at the HQ completely useless giving me different answers. Completely undermined my trust to the co. not a customer there anymore.

the crystal glasses ordered were packed worse then when I pack my trainers after a workout! there was nothing in place to protect these fragile items, not even a tape that says fragile on the box. sadly it is a loss for their company, and an inconvenience for the client. I suggest they either get more professional packers or find a person to teach how to pack prior to sending the goods.

Online purchase arrived damaged. Informed Tk Maxx immediately and sent image. Refund denied unless I return the item to a store even though I have already paid for postage and item damaged. I will never make a purchase from TkMaxx ever again.

Avoid at all costs!!! I have worked as Retails Associate in Kilburn High Road store, the training is minimal but the expectations are high. I have worked there only for 6 days and they refused to pay me!!! It's outrageous! The shop closes at 9:00PM but you are expected to stay for up to 2 or 3 hours over to arrange the merchandise on the shelves as per the company 's standards. That's not a problem, the problem is that if you don't want to work there anymore they refuse to pay you! All I wanted was to get the money that I earned but they didn't pay me because I refuse to work there anymore! Nobody is forced to work in a place where they don't feel good.

Was supposed to have had Treasure reward which never arrived. After several emails to customer service and then several telephone calls was advised item out of stock and they would add my five keys and email me a code. Surprise surprise still haven’t heard anything

I ordered a pair of boots (isabel marant) for £229.99 and they came in horrible, awful conditions, like they were used for more than one year! I took them back to store and explain that I received them one day ago, impossible to be worn by me and look so disgusting and they told me canno't receive them for refund in this conditions and will investigate, I just have to wait for their call. Of course, no one called me. I've also send an email with pictures...and nothing! This is a nightmare!

Fix your website having problems for a week now trying to place an order, and saying error with the card Sam card that is registered with my account on the site and been using for years. Apparently I’m not the only one shut it down and fix it. Awful

Discusting customer service !!! Items arrived broken. Response from CS taking weeks to reply! No apology. No CS. Then they expected me to post it back when I paid for delivery and will only refund on return even though I have sent photos!

Basingstoke - TKMaxx I have been a regular customer for awhile, buying their clothing, items and many other things. However today (12/08/2021) I have never felt so uncomfortable and yet so badly treated by staffing. First a lady who worked in the changing rooms who I would like to name but have respect, for saw me and assumed that I wasn’t going to buy the shoes. I would like to try shoes on before buying as I do not see any problem in that. Then she stood at the end of shoe areas and stared at me while trying the shoes on. Grabbed both pair of shoes to see if I can get an input from my friend. She then kept looking at me and following me with a horrible stare. Went upstairs to the home section to do a bit more of shopping, had seen a young staff guy coming and down looked at me suspiciously and said something in his ear piece. At reaching to the tills I felt all eyes on me as I was buying the shoes. I would just like to say, everyone who works in retail understands how hard it can be. However do not look at someone and judge by their appearance or the length of time I spend in store and assume they’re not going to pay. It’s rude and not right. Please be mindful of how the staffing in the shop can treat people. It’s not acceptable and it’s disgusting how I was treated. I felt I had to rush out of the store. The length of time I spend in the store deciding on the shoes or what to get is no one business apart from mine. The looks are unacceptable and not appropriate. I have not once ever thought of writing a comment. However I am a lady with a morals and respect, I do not steal nor do I ever think about stealing. I have worked in retail before and I understand how it can get, but not once not once would I automatically assume someone is stealing for wanting to look around and try shoes on. I am so disappointed and never felt so uncomfortable. Please fix this, I can grantee I am not the only one who has felt like this. Never again.

The manager in Greenford Tk maxx is a thief. I went to return a dress I had bought 2 days ago as I couldn’t try it due to covid restrictions. The dress was too big. When they scanned it they said that the dress had not been paid for and had another bar code! I asked to see the cctv as they said that the dress was put in the bag after scanning the original barcode by mistake - they didn’t want to show me the cctv - the manager was abusive and aggressive - then they said they saw that I had bought 29 items and they put 30 in the bag!!!! An absolute lie!!! I counted the items I bought they were 29!!! The manager sent another worker to tell me that they were keeping the dress and I would not get a refund!!!! She didn’t want to face me- THIEVES- AVOID - I asked to see the security manager and he didn’t come. I Complained to customer services and no call yet with any resolution

Abusive store staff aggressively mis-sold a product to my elderly mother, charged her delivery fee despite tracking showing it had never been delivered, put this on an e-gift card despite her not wanting this and became overtly threatening and defensive when asked for details of where to make a complaint. The online failures and frequent unfair trading practices associated with this, as well as shocking customer service, are becoming notorious on Trust Pilot and have actually stopped me from shopping there - just not worth the insults and complete, total inconvenience and loss of money.

Click and collect items are late. Emailed customer service and no response. They even charge for Click and Collect but break the promised delivery times on their web site. Avoid online shopping with them... systems not as good as other retailers Sorry there was no option to give it no stars!!!
