“This was the second time that A&D had helped me out, and both experiences were very good. They attended (to my blocked drain) on the same day that I called them, diagnosed the problem quickly and cleared the drain very efficiently. In both cases the engineer was cheerful, friendly, very competent, and left no mess. He also advised me about getting my water company to pay for future work. Of course, I hope not to have the same sort of problem again, but if I do, I'll be straight on the phone to A&D.”

“Plumber arrived slightly late, completed the job very quickly but unfortunately left a leak which was stopped by a colleague about one and a half hours later. Good job overall but marred by the recall.”

“Phoned A+D services as I didn't know a local plumber, told the young lady my problem and was given a date and advice on price immediately. Alan phoned to tell me he was on his way on the given day, when he arrived he looked at where the problem might have been and within minutes knew exactly what it was. No fuss, problem sorted, clean job, lots of excellent advice and a bill less than I thought. Would recommend this company and already have given out the company number to a few people.”

“The engineer that checked my oil fired boiler, only pushed the reset button, to get the boiler running. Then he checked the exhaust, stating that it was running perfect. He did not check anything else. A few hours after he left, the boiler went off & relit after four minutes. It has been doing this ever since, with some mornings, not coming on, at all. I have to then hit the reset and there after, it will go off, after four minutes. I haven't called the engineer back, for fear of being charged another 96 pounds.”

Hello Mr Dunbar We are sorry to hear that you are not happy with our service. Although we do offer 180 days guarantee on all our work which is printed on the paperwork, so if you had called to say the boiler had stopped working we could have sent the engineer back the same day or the next day at the latest which would have been free of charge. Our engineer carried out a full combustion test on the boiler which the results were all within acceptable levels. The engineer did note that the boiler was 12 years overdue for a service which he conveyed to you and wrote it in the recommendations section of the job sheet. Best Regards Dan A&D

“You should be proud to employ engineers like Daniel turned up at the promised time looking very clean and smart and solved and not only solved the problem but gave us advice on a further problem we had and who to contact we would mark him 10plus out of ten and if necessary would certainly use you again”

“Quick and efficient! However, I thought that £114, including VAT, for 15 mins work, to unblock a toilet, was a bit excessive. And was a bit surprised by the the contract you have to sign before they begin work. I suppose they need to protect themselves.”

“I have used A&D Plumbing both personally and commercially and have been more than happy on all occasions. They helped with boiler problems at home and carried out an annual service. I found the engineer to be very polite and helpful. He arrived promptly and the costs were reasonable. I also had a water heater replaced at our business premises. Again it was dealt with swiftly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend them.”

“We have recently had a boiler replacement and wish to recommend A & D plumbing based in Cambridge for the following reasons: The engineer managed to fit and commission the new boiler in a day despite encountering problems connecting to existing pipework. The work quality was outstanding with the new pipework neatly routed to make the best use of available space. The work was organised very well indeed throughout with minimum disruption so we could continue use the kitchen area. We shall not hesitate to recommend this company to others in future for a job well done.”
