Diabolical Service - you really should avoid using this company. I am going to have to use VISA Chargeback to get my money back and purchase elsewhere. I ordered some skis, was advised of delivery, and had a text confirming the delivery date. They didn't turn up. Two days later still no skis. Several calls with Absolute Snow and they wanted me to wait, not interested in helping me. The courier (DX Express) confirmed they had lost the item and would be advising the sender. Absolute Snow still refused to send a replacement until they had that in writing from the Courier. So I am still awaiting skis. Finally, I decided that I had given them sufficient opportunity to make things good and they had not. So my next step is to use the VISA Chargeback and obtain my money back that way. I would never use this awful company again. Read some more of the reviews - I am saying nothing new. They have form on goods not arriving, poor customer service, and reluctance to refund. My advice, spend another Tenner and go to a Company that cares and provides a Service.

I bought 'Flow Fenix Step in Snowboard Bindings' for £130 2 years ago but due to covid I was not able to use it. This week is the first time I used the binding and it broke after 2 days on the slopes. Not helpful at all in regards to the situation

Customer Service lacks, majorly. Nonexistent compensation policy (due to their error), slow response to emails (no calls!), "blaming game" etc. Note - their "price match" is lacking; they'd try to find ways NOT to match prices, even if you provide them with several options. On a positive note - their prices are usually good.

Awful warranty service... AVOID!!! I purchased a North Face bag back in October 2020 with no issues, the item was great and exactly what my partner had wanted. Unfortunately in November 2021 one of the pockets' zippers came off so I promptly submitted a warranty claim request. Four months later I am still waiting for the bag to be repaired. I receive no communication from Absolute Snow unless prompted with a follow up message, I have been given all manner of excuses as to why the process has been delayed, as well as promises that the claim will now be treated as a matter of 'urgency'. I'm certain that if I didn't keep chasing Absolute Snow they would happily allow my bag and the £70+ I spent on it to be lost in the ether... if it isn't already. Appalling service.

I have phoned numerous times since January, had no answer except mailbox full message, sent emails without a reply, trying to return a climbing harness that does not fit.

I selected an item online. I placed my order and the money left my account. After receiving several emails over a couple of days I was informed that the item was not in stock and that a refund had been issued. No funds arrived into my account. Telephoning Absolute Snow is a hard task as their is rarely anyone available to answer. Finally I was told that refunds take five days. I said that the refund should be immediate. I cannot recommend Absolute Snow. Time Wasters

The price match feature DOES NOT WORK. They are known for intentionally over pricing certain items and dodging requests for price matches behind location and shipping costs. It is a form of scalping. Ex. Prana Website: Brion Pant is on sale for $49.99 with free shipping. Absolute-snow: $109.53 + $15 shipping. My request: $79.00 (retail) with + $15 shipping: Because my certain size just went out of stock. Their response twice now: “We are based in the UK but I notice both you and the other shop are not.” So you’re not going to price match for me because I live in another country? You’re selling these pants for more than double the price BEFORE shipping costs. Shaking my head. This shop used to be good. Avoid at all costs now.

This company at first we’re great and helpful I had explained the situation of buying a Christmas/ Birthday present for my partner and checked the returns policy and return dates. The gift I had brought for my partner was too small, so I rang to check again of the returns and was told that it should fit him and he needs to re- try it on again. It still did not fit and so I returned the item. Due to the current circumstances unfortunately my item arrived 1 day out of the Christmas returns policy which when I first spoke to a member of the team when I ordered the item told me Christmas extended returns were until the 28th Jan. Now all of a sudden it’s the 14th and I can have a credit note. I rang and spoke to the same person who told me to double check with my partner and try the item on again, I asked about other options which they didn’t have any in a larger size that my partner liked. So the man agreed to sort me out with a refund. Great I thought, NO. Since 15th Jan I have been on the phone trying to get some news on my apparent refund from absolute snow, I get mugged off every time or they just ignore the phone, emails they won’t reply to me. I find this extremely unprofessional and I will never purchase from them again!

I made an order of 400gbp and I desiccated to exclude one jacket from it after I've paid. They were happy to take it out from the order and they told me that they will refund me the COMPLETE amount of the jacket asap. They did, only they refunded me a partial amount because they charge me the delivery fee (which it wasn't included on the final price) without even telling me. A professional company is obliged to inform their customers for any fee that they are going to charge. It's the customer's money anyway. Also I tried contacting them about this matter via email and they didn't even bother to answer. Completely unprofessional.

Cowboy company. Cancelled my order on the 23rd December - the day after it should have arrived for Christmas with no warning. Left me without a christmas present for someone and no time to get anything else. Disgrace. Dont use

Waited 8 working days for a delivery. It never showed, when I called to enquire why, I was told it hadn’t been sent yet but will be sent today. Spoke to a very nice woman at customer services who refunded me. Will not purchase from here again unfortunately.

They just don’t care New helmet, not their fault it didn’t work but their lack of effort, interest, customer service appalling. After 2+ months I’ve been given a credit note for a new item returned as faulty under warranty which I’d already had to replace for ‘safe skiing’ when away from the UK. They don’t call you back, their email system is impenetrable; they just don’t like you if it goes wrong. Total rubbish.

Beware of warranty issues: I purchased a Bataleon Snowboard from Absolute-Snow 2 months ago. The board has the base going off after only 1 week of use! I have already sent 20 pictures to show the problem and Adam - from Absolute-Snow - keep asking for more pictures claiming that for now he can’t activate the 2-year warranty It’s clear that Absolute-Snow and Bataleon make it very difficult to comply with the warranty they offer. I do not recommend buying any snowboard from Absolute-Snow. ---- UPDATE 1: I told them that when a Camera is broken, i return it to Amazon, they don't ask me for pictures, so why is it different in this case? Reply from Adam: --- Hi Philippe It’s because we have to deal with the brand when it comes to the warranty issue, Amazon are different to us and rather take the hit and lose money which something we can’t afford to do as a company. --- So they basically tell you that they will try everything they can to AVOID the warranty issues.

Terrible service! Not a serious snow sports reseller – just an online warehouse (Dec 2018) From their online presence it seems they have reasonable stock, and I've successfully ordered from them online previously, but this time I was after a complete new snowboard, boots, bindings and bag set. They had stock of the board and binding options I was interested in, according the website, but I needed to try boots. I was hopeful of getting everything in one place. The 'shop' is actually just a small display section on their side of their warehouse, and when I turned up I was asked if I had a 'fitting appointment' (I didn't – and the website doesn’t say you need one), and the chap on the reception desk didn't seem that keen to let me into the 'shop' but said he would 'try to find someone to help me'. There were a couple of other customers inside, and at least 5 staff different staff that kept appearing and disappearing, but I think they were actually warehouse staff - they didn't seem retail trained. After a 15min wait, the chap who started helping me was a ‘boot fitter’, which consisted of measuring the length of my foot (great…) he took another 10mins to turn up with the first pair, another 15mins to turn up with the next pair, then vanished, and after an hour I gave up and left. On the way out I briefly complained to the 'reception' chap (who I think was probably actually the online dispatch manager or something, and who was busy with a sale and another customer was waiting) and he said next time I should 'book a fitting'. I'll never go back - they had more than enough staff to get the job done, they were just hopeless, and rude, and I’d expect them to be similarly hopeless if I’d booked (by retail standards they were not at all busy – the staff outnumbered the customers!) Their 'showroom' had a good selection of boots on display, but only two boards and about a dozen bindings and no bags. Not much point having a 'physical store' if there's not much to look at! It was more like Argos - they have several PCs available and I think they expect customers to pick items on those for staff to go and get. If you’re hoping to see a range of boards in the flesh, forget it – they’re not that keen on bringing a range of stuff for you to look at (think Argos or Screwfix type setup) I got the impression it was geared up to sell to beginners who’d buy based on a picture on the PC!

Utterly dissatisfied with Absolute-Snow - bought some Adidas snowboarding boots in the Black Friday sale and they turned out to be a tiny bit too small for one foot. I rang to ask if I could exchange them for the next half size up and was told they had some in stock and that was fine. I changed my plans and travelled almost 3 hours from Somerset to Watford to pick them up. On the way I even phoned to check they were still in stock and told once again they were. I booked a boot fitting and arrived at 1pm. After waiting another half hour I was told they sold the last pair yesterday morning! Before I had even made my first call! They made no effort to help beyond that and said all they could do was give my money back for the original boots that didn’t fit. 1 wasted day, a 6 hour round trip and £50 on fuel later and I have nothing to show for it. Disappointed I was given false information and for the poor customer service, wish I had bought from a different retailer!

order number - R635746 Bought Snowboard Jacket. Received completely different jacket which didn't match description. Turned out they don't have such jacket at all. Spoke to **Emma Freeman - We are very sorry that this has happened. I have since spoken with the buyer and the uploading team and there may have been a miscommunication from the supplier with the product information provided for this jacket. So we do apologise for the disappointment and inconvenience caused.** Was told that will get postage refund for returning the item + the original price 160.95£ what I paid (155.98£ for the jacket + 4.97£ postage). Received only 155.98£ for the jacket, NOT 160.95£.
