“Ordered a sample of a carpet using the web order form. Correct sample arrived quickly but was tiny. Too small to get an idea of what the colour and texture would look like as a block. I had hoped for something at least 5cm by 5cm. I hope the company changes this.”
“There was no notification of when I could expect my delivery or that it had even be dispatched. I was told that the driver would phone me when they were an hour away, which they didn't. When I questioned your customer service dept they said the couriers don't phone, contradiction! Not impressed!”
“I requested a carpet sample in order to check the colour. It came within a dew days but was tiny, less than 2" square including binding. Even so, the colour did not seem to reflect its name. Overall a complete waste of time.”
“Our order was dispatched quickly but a word of warning to all who purchase on line. We ordered Tredaire Colours Red underlay, an expensive option. When it arrived it was pouring with rain and the deliverer stood on the doorstep and said "sign here". He then deposited the underlay just inside the hallway. It was so heavy I couldn't move it and had to wait for my husband to come home to inspect it properly. There were rips in the packaging, which my husband said was inadequate and the rips went through the underlay. We took pictures of the damage and sent them to Allfloors Express only to be told that because we had not put "uninspected" on the delivery note they disclaimed all responsibility for the damage.”
Hi Angeline, A WORD OF WARNING !!, that was your opening line, well i agree, you didnt order any underlay from allfloors express, We dont sell tredaire colours red. We did supply you with a vinyl recently and i hope your happy with that Purchase. Regards Martin

However they were so tiny you could not see the overall effect.
The size of sample would have been fine if it was just a Samples need to be big enough to see at least what size the tiles actually are. As although I had an idea of colour I didn't know the size of the tiles printed on the vinyl or the type of fake grout used. Just a tiny sample to show colour.”

I'm sorry your disappointed with the samples, We send hundreds each week ,Therefore they are approx 2' squares for posting reason , we are glad to answer questions regarding pattern repeats etc, Regards Martin
“The carpet samples were only 2" square so it was really really difficult to see how they would look in a room where we need around 4m square. A real disappointment given we also had to pay for them. If you're able to send some larger samples then we may well make an order. Thanks.”
Hi Andy, i've just read your review , whilst i appreciate comments on the samples being small, we send out in the region of two hundred per week so i'm afraid they have to be small as we also send the samples from a product bank of over three thousand. One comment i would like to make clear is the fact you did not pay for samples. We have never charged.

I have tried him several times and no response have now had to contact company who said they would contact him and still i have had no word, getting very frustrated and disappointed now.”

“I ordered some samples, one of which has arrived but over 2 weeks later the second batch hasn't. when i asked the customer service team they were very unhelpful and just said it was coming from the factory so i am sure it will be there soon...this is not a great customer experience”
“The online ordering process states there will be an update within 72hrs advising when delivery will be made. This did not happen and calls made on day 4 were not returned (premium rate number). After contacting the website company (via Google search) they provided the company name and address I was then able to contact someone who progressed the order. The local supplier stated the carpet was available on the previous Tuesday and it arrived on the Friday. Not recommended.”
“The Carpet Fitters damaged our newly painted room by taking paint off the skirting, edge of bedroom door and scraping the wall. One of the fitters pointed out to my husband the damage on the wall and the skirting and asked if he still had paint. Choice of carpets on the website and samples good but carpet fitting would not use again. Don't believe that they took their time when they noticed that they were causing damage when the attitude was 'do you still have paint'. No apology offered for the damage caused.”
“I can't comment on the quality of the carpet, but the delivery was confirmed as Friday. When I called on the Friday to find out when it would be here (as taken the day off from work) I was told misunderstanding it would be there Monday. The carpet fitter had a wasted journey as well....”
