“I ordered some carpet samples. I received an automatic order acknowledgement, followed by a note to say that the order was cancelled as they were no longer providing samples after 13th December, but their website didn't allow them to take this feature off.”
“Carpet was delivered with badly frayed edges. It looked like it had been cut with a knife and fork when it was unrolled. Fortunately my fitter was able to cut off the 4+ inches that were frayed as the room was less than 4 metres in length”

Very surprised to read this review as all carpets are supplied and cut at the manufacturers as you can confirm it was fully wrapped and the manufacturers label on the outside. we wish you had contacted us rather than hearing about it for the first time on reviews.
“I was pleased with the price of the carpet, but communication was difficult as no-one answers the phone. I also paid £19.99 for delivery, but only one person arrived with the 5m roll of carpet, so my husband (who has a bad back) had to help the poor lad lift in in to the house. I don't know what would have happened if I'd been in on my own because I couldn't have lifted it!”

i'm sorry to read this review, FIrstly all our drivers vans are equipped with a barrow that means unloading into a property is not difficult at all. upon receiving your order confirmation it states "Please note whilst we are happy to assist in delivery inside your property our drivers will not take carpets upstairs" . I have never had an issue with delivery previously on these grounds and 4.40 x 5.0 is awkward but manageable with the barrow on flat ground. Kind regards Martin
“It would have been more helpful if a pattern of lino based on a square grid could have been a sample with a bit more of the square and the intersection. The sample was so small it was about 4" square with one side marked with a line ... not enough to show you how it would look. Disappointing rather than inspiring.”
“I only ordered samples to date. As your only allowed 4 free, I paid for 4 more. Unfortunately they are only as big as 3 large postage stamps. How your expected to get an idea from them as to whether the carpet is right for you fails me. I am disappointed.”

Hi Joel, I really wish we could the issue seems to revolve around the Billing address must be exact, the problem we have is that they are relatively high value goods and the checks are stringent because of us allowing a different delivery address. Kindest regards Martin
“I sent off for some carpet samples - this was one of the online retailers that I have used. I have to say that theirs were the smallest samples of any that I have received to date and are really not helpful in making a final decision on a carpet - they were mostly only about 2 inches square! I get that samples are a business overhead, but they are also a sales tool, so really need to do a bit better here!”
“We only ordered sample's but they were so small it would be nice to have slightly buggar samples I would be happy to pay a sample fee to get 3 samples of bigger sizes. Also only 2 of the 4 requested was sent.

We are sorry about the size but with 3500 products and sending around 500 samples per week they have to be two inch squares to be in anyway practical to post. Regards Martin
“Order was as expected but delivery took ages; granted City link who normally delivers for All floors Express went burst but I didn't get an update about this until over a week after my order was placed.”
“To me, the website implied that fitting was included. It wasn't. That made the carpet considerably more expensive than a local supplier.
Martin was very good, explaining the situation. The delivery arrangements were excellent, with a call about an hour before arrival, all as planned.
The carpet looks good, just as we wanted.”

Actually very pleased with the price,quite a saving from the high street, The only aspect I would be critical of was delivery time.
We were assured had we lived in or near Manchester no problem!!
But Dorchester the county town of Dorset seemed to be akin to outer Mongolia.
