“My #1 favorite place for pants! The only drawback for me are the limited non-polyester/non-plastic clothes. If there were more natural-fiber options, this might be one of the only places I'd ever shop for core wardrobe pieces.”
“Fourth time is the charm. I ordered two shirts in tall and XT that were too big. I returned them, ordered a sz down in tall. The sleeves were extremely skimpy, which surprised me! I am 5'11", so not super tall. I returned that shirt and ordered the same sz in XT which arrived today. It fits. It's fine. The fabric is thin feeling, but it will work under vests, etc. I'm keeping this one!”

“Love that the clothes are definitely cut longer in all the areas we tall people need the length without going wide and boxy to get the length we need. I just wish sizing was more consistent as I've ranged from a womens size 8-12 in the few pants I've purchased. The return policy is tricky as I've learned to pay my alterations person to alter pants rather than go back and forth and either lose $9 or have a credit sitting until I remember to use it. I don't buy an item unless there are enough reviews to give me an idea of how each item is cut and sized.”
“Overall I like this sweatshirt. The fact that I can order a sweatshirt that is long enough is a game changer. Idid have to go up a size because I wanted it to fit a little looser. Keep in mind it is a more fitted sweatshirt. So if you want a more relaxed fit go up a size. It does seem to run true to size though. I do wish the sleeves were a little bit longer but that’s my personal preference. Also, it is not a soft feeling sweatshirt (made of the terry fabric). If it was a nice soft fabric it would be a 5 star. The quality feels nice and like it will last a few seasons. I would buy another one when I need it.”
“American Tall has truly raised the bar for tall-friendly fashion. As someone who’s always struggled to find clothes that actually fit my frame, I’m thrilled with their long inseam pants—they’re comfortable, stylish, and finally hit the mark on length. I especially love their high-waisted pant options, which offer a flattering fit and extra comfort. The shirts are just as impressive, with sleeve lengths that actually reach my wrists without feeling oversized or sloppy.
The only downside for me is the sizing of their athletic and sweatpants. I have a 31-inch waist and need to order a size large just to get the waistband to fit—but the rest of the pant ends up feeling too roomy. A more tailored fit or an in-between size would make these perfect.
Still, I’m grateful to have found a brand that understands tall proportions and delivers on both comfort and style.”
