“Would not recommend. I bought a Ford transit custom a year ago now it has had 3 oil changes! Due to oil being contaminated from Failed dpf re-generation apparently. So van keeps going into limp mode. The battery needs replacing wich they apparently done when I took it back The first time so the obviously didn't do That! The Rea brakes need replacing and I haven't done more than 5000 miles in it yet! So a year on I'm left with a van With a underlying problem not happy at all!”

“Hi everyone I recently bought a van for anchor vans and i found they are helpful but i was very disappointed to find the van i wanted was not available to take away when they said it would be ready then i arrived to there premises to pick up another vehicle simalar to the one i was supposed to get only to find the brakes were terrible plus the 2 side doors were broken because i dont live in the uk and its now nearly time to be getting my boat i really needed to be leaving with a van so i did see a van which was ready to go so i gave it a little test run to find it was ok so i purchased this van but i realised when travelling from reading to liverpool which is a long drive when i was on the motorway doing 70mph when i braked the steering wheel was shaking so bad it felt like it was going to come off into my hand so that journey took alot of time. So i ring up the company today to let them know what had happened and asked if the van had an mot and he said yes but that would not show up on an mot which i find very bizarre anyway it would have been nice for the company to offer some kind of refund to me because of this but no nothing simply get it fixed yourself more money to be honest i found this company are all about getting vehicles out of there yards and getting the money i would never deal with them again and i will be advising anyone who is going to deal with them check ever single thing 2 maybe 3 times what should have been a 4 hour drive it took 7.5 hours due to the problem with the steering wheel shaking especially when you have a 9 year old in the van its makes it more difficult journey So will i use anchor vans again No Will i adive anyone to stay away Yes Thanks anchor vans Not a happy customer here”

“Iv been reading the reviews on here and I have to say I don't believe any of it from my experience. I walked into the main office thinking one of the sales would approach me no they just sat there looking around. So I went to the closest person to the door said what I was looking for and he said there all out there when you see one come and get me. So I went out found a van I liked went back in and saw him where he made me wait for 5 mins while he played with some paperwork. When I asked some question he turn round and said that's the van that's the price take it or leave it. Well that was good enough for me. Just to let you know I buy an avarage of 20 small every 3 years. And I won't be spending a penny with this company. Sorry I wasted all five minutes of your time coming in.”

“Got the impression from Wayne that he was doing me a favour selling me the van. Any concern I raised was met with the response " All we,re talking about here is a £3000 no vat van". Getting any information was like pulling teeth. As a new start-up sole trader £3000 is a huge outlay for me. By the way, I,m very happy with the van, just not the customer service.”
