We bought two furnitures online at the end of August. We only bought it because ot was saying the day they would delivery and it was soon. However, they changed to backorder and we never had any more news about it. 4 months has gone and now they said it was supposed to be delivered. Didn’t say when!
So i talked to an agent and he informed us it was supposed to be in december 22th but we wouldn’t be home. I tried to reschedule any other day, i can’t, they don’t allow us to do so.
In sume, don’t buy anything online unless you are someone that NEVER get out from your home. They deliver whenever they want.”
“I have ordered item from them on 7/12. The product page stated that it would be delivered within 3-5 days.
After about 4-5 days I have recevied email that order was shipped with the tracking number provided. Not quick turnaround but ok, everyone are busy now during peak season. After another 2 days I have checked tracking and I found the parcel has not even been picked by the carrier, so I decided to contact them then.
For my first contact email which was my reply to their order confirmation (so all order details were included), they have replied after about 3-4 days that I have not provided order number in my message so they are not able to find my order, so I have replied to them with my order number which was included anyway in my first message. Then after another few days of waiting they have replied that my order is delayed. Wow! Thanks for telling me that as otherwise I wouldn't be aware of this! They have said it will take another few days to investigate.
Today is 19/12 and order is still not delivered. I have contacted their support several times and they only reply with few days delay plus their replies are a good joke.
I really regret ordering with them. The product I ordered was a Christmas present which is unlikely to be delivered before Christmas, so will seek for full refund which will cause me wasting even more time fighting with them for a refund now.”
“I ordered a set of six glasses. When I opened the box one was already broken despite being wrapped in plenty of bubblewrap. Customer services is ignoring my attempts to contact them and each time a I do they send me a survey to ask how my experience with their non existent customer services representative was!”
“Do not buy on their website unless you want your card info stolen, a subscription made on your card and no one helping you!! I purchased a sofa that I paid in full and out of the blue was billed £59 weeks later, I wrote to them immediately explaining I didn’t make this order and for them to cancel it and refund me. The order didn’t appear on my anthropologie account but my card was indeed used on their website after I used my card weeks earlier on their website. I provided them with screenshots and told them they would be able to trace the order by checking the card number used but absolutely no one tried to even help. Just awful! I spent over £2650 on a sofa and this is how they treat their customers after their system was hacked! They told me I had to sort it with my bank, which I tried of course, and even the bank cannot understand the lack of any help they are providing when this is their responsibility to secure transactions. Do yourself a favour and just don’t risk it, I now have a setup subscription on my account that I still haven’t been able to cancel or get my money back on; I’ve had to freeze the card and order a new one etc. But the subscription is still active. Absolute nightmare”
“Good luck getting your money back on retuned items. I returned a basket that was poor quality and had actual cobwebs on it. They received the return July 3. I confirmed several times that the item was received with customer service. One person told me they processed the refund and it would take 1-3 days to show up. They flat out lied. No credit. Tried contacting again and now they are saying it will take 3-4 more weeks to “process”! It was never like this before and there are no other companies that take that long to issue a refund once receiving items. My credit card company allows the business two weeks to credit the return after receiving it so I will be disputing the charge. Are they holding customers’ money now to earn interest? One has to wonder.”
“Terrible Customer Service: I ordered four items from Anthropologie. Firstly, everything is completely overpriced and low quality here. Secondly, after paying for shipping my order was lost. I finally found it going to the WRONG LOCATION. I couldn't change the final destination and I spent half a day trying to change the address. I talked to a manager at Anthropologie who assured me the address was changed. The address was never changed, and nothing could be done to resolve the issue, according to the company. It was constantly pass the buck whether it be talk to the shipping carrier or contact the sister store. Finally, the items were sent out in FOUR separate boxes. Use a different service like Nordstroms Rack, BCBG, Free People, or Zara.”
