“Ordered a Cadac pan on Friday 24th August. Paid extra for 2 day delivery as we were leaving for holiday on Friday 30th and wanted the pan with us. Yes, there was a bank Holiday on the Monday, but that still left plenty of time for delivery. Item was not delivered until after we had left on Friday. Very disappointing and a waste of '2 day postage'.”

You placed the order on Friday 23/08 at 17.05. This is after our 12pm cut-off time for same-day dispatch.
As Monday 26/08 was a bank holiday, the order could not be dispatched until Tuesday 27/08.
It was dispatched with Royal Mail on a tracked 48hr label and should have arrived Thursday 28/08.
We have checked the tracking and can see it was delivered on the morning of Friday 29/08. We are sorry this was a day outside the 2-working day timeframe.
We will refund the extra you paid for the 2-working day delivery back to you.
We advise customers not to leave urgent orders until the last minute on a bank holiday weekend as the increase in parcel numbers and shorter delivery timeframe can leave Royal Mail a day behind schedule.
